- In this Airsoft [REVIEW/HOW TO] we look at the Madbull Daniel Defense 9.5" MK18 RIS/Rail.
Probably the best Airsoft repro of the Daniel Defense 9.5" RIS/Rail for the MK18 MOD1/M4 CQB-R Block II.
Nice aluminum construction and similar color to the legit DD rail.
Pretty fast to install as well, very solid once mounted.

All'inizio pensavo fosse russo ad essere sincero, più che per la pronuncia per la cadenza con cui parla.
Capisco per per una persona di lingua madre inglese sia una novità interessante ma per me è una tortura.
Si sente così tanto che non fa il minimo sforzo di pronunciare come si dovrebbe che sembra addirittura lo faccia apposta.
Perlomeno potrebbe usare una cadenza meno robotica nelle parole.

Picked up an SBR at my local gun shop they have such awesome gun setups when I got it it already had the same exact hand guard by Daniel defense, surefire muzzle device and also a Daniel defense bolt carrier, holosun red dot, aero lower ect it’s sick only thing I’m gonna do is get a Grovetech 2pt sling, and a flashlight for now
with all that paracord you can make a cobra weave sling just look on UA-cam how to paracord cobra weave!!!

What are the install issues on using $110 version on REAL 223 / 556 NATO AR?
oh boy lol! I can only imagine the real steal is way more durable and has a better build quality. The airsoft version is made from aluminum. Only issue is i know most airsoft guns are not 1:1 scale (but i think that only refers to the receiver). Maybe if you find a milspec airsoft rail you might be in luck those are the same size as real steel.
The funny thing is that they both use 6061 aluminum and this is a 1:1 scale licensed product. So in theory its relative. But honesty I think its the build quality would be lower. But for the money i think it'll be amazing. Gonna pick one up and put it on my 10.5 5.56 pistol build.

It does not come with the rail, I'm pretty sure.
Pretty sure the gas block came with the barrel he is using, looks like zparts 10.3”
Bought on of these & i cant get the barrel nut to stop shaking around, when fully installed the rail does not hold zero at all

i fitted mines and it’s pretty solid but when i use my foregrip it sometimes has a little play left and right would it need the barrel nut tighter ?

Gucci Swag for a mk18 you need a 10.3 outer barrel, any kind but if you are using a GBBR I don't think u can get 10.3 so 10.5 will have to work

Chupacabra Outdoor thanks some people said it's for stability but it just didn't make sense.
Well, they wouldn't be exactly wrong since the gas tube runs through the outer barrel nut, it would prevent this piece from rotating under some force, but in the overall it's not really necessary!
My outer barrel has some play in it idk if it's cause everything isn't tight but yea

Mine cant seem to fit ( the bolt up plate and actual hand rail) with the barrel nut provided but it looks the same as yours..

Thanks man, you're right it doesn't. You'll need to sit the gas tube assembly further in order to fit the outer barrel.

I saw a guy in a video use an airsoft rail for his AR. He said it worked great and had no problems. Just use loctite on the screws. They sell a all black version of this on eBay. I am going to try it on my AR.

You'll want either the _FSP RIS II_ (if you keep the iron sight) or the 12 inch _RIS II_ if you're removing the front sight. Both are current SOPMOD for that barrel length.

It’s a free float handguard over the barrel it should move just a little bit because of the harmonics of the rifle when fired. Aid’s in accuracy. Don’t worry it’s fine boss.

The mk18 socoom cqb in the video is 10. Inches not 9.5 and a true barrel is 10.3 mom socoom cqb rails are 9.5 to accommodate a front site post or just nerdy

Outer and inner? You mean where the muzzle device starts? First of all this isn’t a 9.5 inch handgaurd in the Video. It’s 10inches it’s the socoom cqb you can tell by the last rail number being 37 then a screw or a qd sling hole. The mk18 socoom cqb rail is 10 inches and the barrel is 10.3 measuring from where the barrel protrudes from the nut. And .3 inches is the threading the taper and the rail are flush. So a can doesn’t have any goofy space like you see some nerds have on their rails. If I got shot by one of those I would literally come back from the dead and shoot myself for being shot by a friggin nerd.
Anyway this is the 10 inch hand rail socoom cqb not the mk18 mod0 that hand guard was carbine length meant for a site post to start there and the barrel goes out to accommodate for that. This a ddm4 mk18 socoom cqb mod 1 block 2 I believe. What ever it’s hella spensive and not worth it.

I painted a Midwest industries t series quad rail bronze and it looks better than the dd rail. But you can’t attach a granade lancher to the bottom. Bummer....actually

why install the gas block? just for looks i assume?
Yup, there's absolutely no other reason to do so in Airsoft, very few have features( hidden tools inside for dialing the hop-up or screws), even in gas powered guns it's there just for looks.

Chupacabra Outdoor I mean rotation wise. I've got the rail centered as it can be, but the system it's self seems to have rolled to the left. I think I'm going to try the install over again with a rail bridge and see if that works
Gotcha, try with a rail bridge and make sure the screws are tighten evenly during the procedure
i found the issue. the dust cover pin on my VFC upper was making contact with the center right (from behind) screw. trimmed the pin, added a bridge during the tightening process, dead straight.

The legit DD rail is very hard to fit in any ASG, a friend of mine pulled it off on a Systema but it required some filing, I think you'll have much greater chances with a replica!

not a lot just the pin that sticks into the gass tube hole on the receiver that would have to be drilled out

@vikk-slick biggest issue is the barrel nut one it's a different spec not too far of maily the pitch of the theading and 2 it probably wouldn't hold the pressure I would say if you got a dd barel nut and drilled that pin out that pokes into the gas tube hole it will most certainly work just fine
@@Ruthless9187 I just ordered this, and plan on putting it on a .22lr upper. Ill let you know how it goes. .22lr uppers dont require a gas tube, and the recoil is minimal.
@@HeckerAirsoft i finally installed it on a real ar ar 556 it does hold the recoil . let me tell you the material is the same spec .the tread pitch if a lil diffremt but with a lil pressure it will drive all the way back .

Yes it will I have the mk12 hand guard (12 inch version of mk18 hand guard) mounted to my SPR MK2 so yes it will work because the CRB and the SPR share the same system
