No one hates Dave Jackson, he's just ignorant of what angry Oilers fans are actually talking about. Nobody is contesting what the NHL rulebook says counts as goalie interference: we're just intelligent enough to see that the insane standard that they are currently holding the Oilers to will not be, and as of the broadcast obviously still is not, going to be enforced consistently. The feelings are over the inconsistent practical application, not the ideal on-paper definition that Dave Jackson irrelevantly brings up.
Whole segment would have worked better if they showed calls from other games that basically are more or less the same but called oppositely. Nope instead, as is, hot garbage segment! Big L on that one.
Okay so with Skinner "baiting" for a penalty... we can love Skinner AND think that was a dick move at the same time. My kids can be HUGE assholes and that does not change how much I love them 😅😅😅
