Oilers go on the road to down the Predators by a score of 4-2 in their most complete game of the season so far. Rishaug, Strudwick and Rob Brown break it down.
Long post follows with base game statistics including some for the Nashville Predators. Read, don't read, up to you. These are BASE stats not detailed ones. My comments and observations at the end. PK let in 1 of 3. Almost no hitting by the Oilers but a lot of hits by Nashville. I don't care if you hit or not, the goal is to prevent someone from scoring or take a puck away, Nashville didn't do that. McDavid got his first goal of the season and the Oilers have now won 2 in a row (after loosing 3 in a row). The mayor of Smashville got one lowly assist (on that McDavid wrister just 44 seconds after Nashville tied it at 2) to take the lead. Kulak's first goal (a try and try again and eventually it will go in) was just after the penalty to Nurse and McCarron who had a fight. Emotion and score. The one PP goal Nashville got was on a double minor for High Sticking to Podkolzin. Again, my circumstances prevent me from watching, well, anything right now so I can only go from what I hear. While Nashville tied it late in the 2nd I actually wasn't worried (as Connor McDavid and the team responded 44 seconds later). Take care all.
Struds has elite chirps. "Did you wake your wife up to tell her" hahah
