My vista-20p has a 5881enh, the 6160 sometimes display check 100, it looks there is wire connection problem between panel and receiver. But the receiver next to the panel and use with the box cable, don’t know what’s wrong?
That check 100 means that there is a wire that came out of terminal across keypad bus. Check and make sure all wires are good and tight in terminals even your keypad wires on the keypad bus and in the back of keypad. You could have a broken wire as well.
@@trevorbrewton2720 Thanks for your suggestions. I have changed another 5881h receiver, it runs normal for first day and the next day it displays “check 100 rf receiver” again…… Does it means it happens not from the 5881’s cable ? I use the original box cable, the receiver install next to the panel. In that case I need to change the keypad or control panel ?
Will the wireless converter work with pre existing hard wired sensors that were being used with a DSC control panel and keypads? Switching to Honeywell Lyric system but don’t want to replace all the sensors if I don’t have to. Thank you!
The 5800C2w will work with most hardwire set up you have to utilize resistors if there are resistors already on the panel that is ok the 5800c2w can use 1000 ohm to 10000 ohm resistors.
@@dylanalarm_grid1038 Hi, so I know this may seem off topic but I’m moving into a summer house, want to add a alarm system for sure I have a vista 20p from adt from over 20 years ago it still works but I didn’t install it, I want to add a vista 20p to my summer house. For first of all I want to add some 5828 keypads and 6160rf keypads. Probably one 6160 rf and 1-2 6150 and maybe 2 5828, now my question is can I Just have one keypad that is rf that I’m going to be programming on in that case, my keypad is the 6160rf keypad for programming. What is the best wire for keypads??? Also I’m thinking of using button style sensors but I heard you could just put a shim or something to hold down the button to make it seem “Closed” and pry my casement window open, now it’s casement windows so I don’t. Care about that but I’m more scared about my teen should I just rescced contacts by drilling into my casement windows one at the bottom of the rain seal of my window and one contact under the casement windows, now casement windows open like outward or inward doors so yeah. Now where would I wire my keypads on the terminals and do you know how to attach my phone box?
Soi just installed a honeywell wireless alarm but i want to put in a wired keypad and run a cable to my bell box as i cant keep changing batteries every year. Is this possible and if so what do i buy?
Hello Lee, If you are referring to an all in one wireless alarm, they do not support hardwired keypads. Are you able to provide more info, please. Then, we can see if we can help.
Anything you can do on a Vista-21iP (with the exception of connecting an Ethernet cable and/or a cellular module straight to the panel) you can do with a Vista-20P. You could use a 5800C2W to convert wired sensors to wireless for the purpose of tying those zones to a Vista-20P, as long as the 20P has a 5800 series receiver attached to it, with enough zone capacity to support the number of wireless zones being used. An L receiver supports up to 8 wireless zones, an M receiver supports up to 16, and an H receiver will support as many wireless zones as the panel allows.
Any videos on how to connect?
hello @clintmillent, which piece of equipment are you wanting to connect?
Can I turn the hardwire to wireless to work with Apple HomeKit ?
What is the cost for adding
6160RF keypad
5800C2W sensor?
How to install the 5800C2W ?

How do I see and control my Honeywell security system from my phone while I'm away from my home?
You’ll need to get TC.20 it’s an app whoever monitors your alarm will need to set that up with you
Very good
