Hey Brad, I just found your channel through your two exposure related videos, I find yours to be the simplest to understand and most fun to watch, helped me to understand better how to shoot Slog2 for my channel. Thank you and I hope your channel grow and get the recgonization you deserve, subbed and sending love from China :)
A few days ago I stumbled on your channel. (I googled it for the "Zebra in video camera", and your video was second, but being shorter then the first video I clicked on yours, so Google is on your side😀) Then I clicked to another of your videos, so the second one got me subscribed. Then I got curious and watched almost all of your videos. The quality of your content is very impressive. From the topics, to pacing, personality, SFX and basically everything! It seems that you have been in the industry quite bit of the time and know your subject very well. UA-cam definitely should spread your content more!
Ha wow that's amazing, never thought about the length of the video. Well that is very nice of you to say - and yeah I started out on 16mm film, so I've been around a while...Glad to help, I'm trying to get videos out more frequently, and a message like this really keeps me motivated to keep going, thank you!
@@BradGiannini Good luck on your UA-cam journey! You definitely are doing it right 🙂, I have no doubts that your channel will take off soon. I am looking forward to see more of your work!
@@BradGiannini I 100% agree with Victor. Like him, I ALSO stumbled across your video when trying to understand zebras. Your work is one of the best I've seen on YT (granted, not a lot). I'm shocked that you don't have a backlog of like 200 videos here because the ones I've seen so far is a good contender for the gold standard I think for any consumer looking for a bit more depth and knowledge when first starting out without getting too deeply entrenched into the nerd side of things.
Really really much appreciated. I'm finishing up some work related videos this weekend and gonna start getting more videos out soon, thanks for your support, it means a lot!
I like this video, its the one with the least ammount of views... 476 at the time, before 11 months of release... I don't know why, but it stands out on its own
Well, Adobe and Cloud are red flags in any scenario, so that is one concern. Second , from what I've seen or rather heard, the Adobe AI for Speech thingy, seems to have been made by people who are not really audiophiles, and the whole thing seems to have been made for the masses of content creators that could not tell a difference between mics anyhow. It’s kind of like selling AI background blur on a smartphone to TikTok influencers vs. trying to sell it to pro photographers. Some people will not be able to tell the difference and will not care, but the difference exists. Either way, it tells a lot about our civilization when standards on average are low, does it not? Would Michaelangelo use a background blur on a smartphone ? If he did, would he be Michaelangelo? Anyway, just my 2 cents. By the way. Kudos for the effort you put in your videos. UA-cam algorithms are brutal, they don't push quality. Hence we have Adobe AI to the masses. Cheers!
Well that's a pretty interesting comparison, I think in its nascent stage right now it's teetering on being useful, but agreed not for professionals. I think the clips that sounded best was when it was fixing audio problems. So for now it's probably for either low end mics and/or bad audio recordings to just get something usable. But that's for now, if it continues to improve who knows how impressive it can be within a few years. As far as what it says about us, part of the problem is the delivery system, with most people watching things on their phones it lessens the possibility of people even noticing a difference for them to care about. But yeah it's a new world out there!
@@BradGiannini Yeah. I've tried number of these AI tools, such as iZotope RX, Clarity Vx Pro from Waves, Davinci Resolve Voice Isolation, and also various other third party plug ins made to do something similar to Adobe. And while mots have their weakness and strengths, and some are very useful and impressive for cleaning up the background noise etc. Overall I tend to find that like with everything its a compromise. For cleaner voice you lose some of the finer aspects of recording of that voice. There is always something lost and its really a balance. Oh, also if you are interested. there is a great little plug in I found for trying to mimic different microphones. I was pretty happy with some sounds I could get out of it. Lot of mic simulations to choose from and with a solid recording to begun with , its actually pretty useful. If you are interested , give it a try. @@KrunoslavStifter Absolutely just like anything in life, there's always a trade-off. Cool thanks for sharing that, I've heard of it but never played with it, but I'm gonna try it out, that could be pretty useful if it works well!

This was fantastic! And as an ASMR enthusiast, the tictacs were also great 😂
Ha thanks cracked a tooth doing it!
This is really informative. Good job!
Hey thanks, glad to help!
I guess nothing beats quality equipment. But dang, the enhance speech feature is very impressive.
Yeah I agree, nothing beats it... For now... But yeah it already makes usable some pretty bad audio!
Hey, I just want to say thank you for your all works! I really enjoyed them and use them in my own life! Thanks again..
Hey really appreciate it, thanks for reaching out! Glad to here it helps!
