Yes, 2 different definitions are there for the word consciousness. What i describe is usually called pure consciousness, which is the pure faculty of being conscious and which never changes. However the consciousness that does change and also evolves through the chakras, is the individual consciousness, the reflection of pure consciousness within the energy field, the consciousness that takes form and changes form.
