How much time did it take me to fill every tile? Leave a comment with your answer, and the first one to get it right will be mentioned on the next video! Spoiler: It's not what you think. Think outside the box! ;)
Like the reply above said, 5 seconds, because you probably used Mega man level editor to fill the entire map in one click, but I don't know if that program can do that.
@@Red_Biker_Dude Not saying you are wrong, but the tool that appeared on the video is not what I used. MMLV Editor is not capable of filling every tile at once.
Using wine it's been possible for a long while, but ever since the steamdeck launched it has gotten easier and easier. Also way more games work now. It sure is cool that pieces of software made for a totally different platform work with near native performance on linux (some even run faster!).
I thought Windows 7 was "retired" already. I would give anything for having the windows 7 ui in any system, I miss it! Support for windows games on linux may not be complete, but it sure it's better for everything else! Steam even made a gameconsole based on it!
@@GameFeverOnline Win7 support for other programs is still ongoing, but many web browsers, and Steam, are dropping it for good in 2024. I've been thinking about installing Linux on my Win7 PC when that happens.
@@MCR123321 If you are moving to linux someday, remember to check if everything you do is supported. There is a website called protondb (and I think there is winedb also) where you can check the support of games. And programs like microsoft word, adobe programs, paint.net, those don't work so you'll have to find alternatives. I recommend that you try to move to those alternatives while you are on windows, since that will make the switch easier. Also, consider the posibility of making a dual boot, which is not touching your windows installation and install linux at the same time. At boot time you can the choose the os. That is possible if you have plenty storage space though.
@@GameFeverOnline Yeah I currently rock a dual boot with different versions of Windows for different programs. Probably install another hard drive and slap linux on it for certain games and web browsing.
Awesome and can't wait to see more types of these videos. I have a problem with MMM while using obs to record it, when I want to record it. The recodings have only audio but no video and when I run it as administrator it's still doesn't work. I use game capture
It's just install bottles and flatseal through flatpak, use flatseal to give bottles permission to access the directory where you store the games (or just your home), create a bottle using the gaming preset and add a shortcut to the mmm exe. Also, on some computers vulkan is not supported. In that case you would need to disable dxvk and vkd3d.
A good idea when something doesn't work is to open it from the terminal. In bottles there is a button for "run in terminal", make sure it is ticked. In the terminal window you will get the error. But if I had to guess, it's probably either that you didn't allow bottles to access your hard drive with FlatSeal, or your GPU probably doesn't support vulkan. For the latter, just disable dxvk.

Like, 5 seconds? You seemed to have used some kind of tool that can both zoom out long distances and fill an area with tiles

@@GameFeverOnline alright then
So linux players can now play windows games? That's really cool.

1:24 You filled every single section in the editor, what a pro :)
How much time do you think it took me? Reply to the pinned comment with your guess. No one shall guess correctly 😎
This is really helpful, thanks for sharing this!
Glad you think so!
Cool! Similar to Android Emulators on Windows
Very useful info especially considering another version of Windows will be retired in 2024 (Windows 7).

Hey! That has happened to me as well. Try using window capture instead, or full screen capture if you use mega man maker on full screen.
Thank you
can you make a step by step tutorial? if the tutorial works i can put it on the mega man maker wiki

Does not work for me :( I load the executable and it ask to load an executable after that and then nothing.

how come i dont get the same options as you do
Are you using the flatpak? If not, you should. Distro packages for bottles are very bad most of the time.
i am
Where in the video is it different than yours, can you give me a timestamp?
