I literally just came back from Fallow 3 hours ago. Found these guys on UA-cam and been hooked on the channel. Said to the wife, WE HAVE TO GO HERE. Did not disappoint. Corn ribs are like crack. Mussels with Bacon Butter, unreal. Carrot salad, trust me. Is a must. Monkfish tikka massala, farkin hell. Absolute 10/10
I went today for the first time for a roast. Had the corn ribs, a beef roast and whiskey miso butter cocktail. One of the few roast dinners i've eaten where every single element on the plate was cooked perfectly. Service was incredible too. Wicked place.
So looks like the Fallow Heddon St. Restaurant is already ‘permanently closed’. Please keep your St. James’s location of Fallow open until at least the end of June - because I’m planning a trip to London then, and *really* want to try a British Sunday roast meal, and want to have yours (after I saw that ‘Inside Food’ YT channel, an American + a British guy try out different London restaurants for Sunday roast dinners!).❤ Of course I hope it stays profitable and in business for YEARS to come - I’m just being selfish about the June date!👍
I had dinner at Fallow this past Sunday, April 7th. Everything was excellent. Had the mushroom parfait, curry wurst, cods head, mussels. Thanks for an excellent evening out.
I’m from the US and went to London for the first time in 2022, but found Fallow’s UA-cam page a couple weeks after I left. Since then, I’ve been waiting to go back to London to go to Fallow! Can’t wait to see the new restaurant. Best of luck you guys!
Cool!! Please vlog as much as you can about building, designs, issues, wins, and mistakes. The journey, the ups and downs, is what makes things like this very fun to watch. If everything is always perfect, that it feels put on. I think it can also help to get people emotionally invested in the success of the new place as well, people watch the stress from this episode all the way to opening night. But if not, I'll be here for the content you already put out, as it fun watching talented people to the thing they're great at doing. God Bless!
I tried Roe the other day for their soft launch and it was amazing! Gorgeous space, good prices, good cocktails and of course, very good food. Would highly recommend.
Following this channel for quite a while now. Being from California, I would travel to London simply just to visit Fallow. These guys are absolutely phenomenal and deserve an immense amount of success in the future. Well done fellas.
Truly so happy for you guys! The Follow team as a whole, kitchen, BoH, FoH and bar! You have all worked so hard together over the past three years, like a well oiled service machine! I can not wait to dine again with you in Canary Wharf! And hopefully see you all at the opening night.
Canary Wharf definitely an odd one for an independent fine dining restaurant, but as you said so is the heartland of grimey tourist London! Can see the appeal of having a huge space to work with compared to cramming into a small unit in a less risky location like West London or Islington. Good luck lads
Love this honesty, I'm not from London and I've never been to fallow but I have bought into your story via youtube and hope to visit one day. Good luck
I've had the pleasure of eating at both fallow and fowl and they are both amazing I don't think you guys have anything to worry about Roe will surely be as amazing I hope I'll be able to try it later this year.
I run a private estate in the BVI and the Chef and I always chat about these guys and their food. Inspirational and talent it’s a good combo. All the best with the new gaff
I love the rare insight into your brand, its raw passion mixed with honesty. The insight you guys are willing to give is so humble and on point! The fact you guys are sharing how deals are done etc is unreal...love the journey and I recon if you carry on like you, you will take over that whole street!
Y'all are so damn inspiring, especially to someone from the north! Excited to visit and see how the expansion leads to bigger and better things for the whole team, including AJ!
Guys you have a winning mentality, you are young you have nothing to lose. All the value you have is right there in the mirror, starring back at you. You will kill it in the new restaurant, stay strong 💥
You will always have your talent, friendship, team-building skills and many other intangibles to fall back on. The rest is all "hardware" - it can go away and may feel shitty if it does, but you never want to wake up and look in the mirror and whisper "if only". Best of luck great success!
Absolutely best of luck. This is only been up an hour but I've already watched it 2x. You're such an inspiration and practically a model in my own line of work & I do smthng COMPLETELY different Can't wait to visit when I'm back in London
I’d be curious (I know nothing about restaurants) whether footfall matters that much? With this kind of place I visited from Ireland after hearing about it on Instagram. I’d imagine word of mouth and who lives and works in the general area is much more important? As opposed to someone walking by and selecting it based on the menu outside for example.
@@allenwixted1992 Sorry, by footfall i mean St James has a lot more people visiting it for other reasons than say just going to Fallow, but Roe is one of only a few reasons you might want to visit that part of Canary Wharf, its a very quiet area at weekends and at times like Easter, Christmas and Bank holidays, roe might become a specific reason to visit the area, but even at that there is a lot less footfall. If i was in London for the day i may visit Fallow as it's location is perfect, not sure i would book Roe though, too much of a detour.
@@deadnicedave ah I get you! Maybe they’ll be able to make a few more expensive and creative dishes there with the financial crowd? Will be interesting to see if it’s the same menu. But yeah I get you!
Congratulations on the marriage, sir. i love the restaurant, always find the staff warm and welcoming and the food amazing can't wait for roe to open this month I'll be there.
Good luck lads, its a good move in my opinion as Canary Wharf is attracting a new crowd these days especially being so close to venues such as Excel and O2 Arena.
As a chef this looks like one of the best places you can work ! The fallow team look amazing, look like they actually care about there products, staff and the restaurant it's so hard to find that in hospitality nowadays! Also refreshing to see an insight to this sort of stuff!
Man oh man, this is so promessing, the space and your vision are going to produce something great for sure ! I'm a culinary photographer based in Geneva, If I ever swing by London you'll be the first place I go to ! Best wishes
Best of luck - been enjoying all of your content. If it’s possible to see some progress along the way, great. If not, understandable hope it goes to plan!
Glad I’ve came across this channel, can’t stop watching these videos, I’m a head chef in a place I’ve been most of my career so such a great insight into other kitchens great to see, keep it up lads and hope everything works out ❤️
This new venture will be a success and you know it - all of the limitless corporate budgets will be going straight into your pockets. Canary Wharf isn't like Haymarket where people just stroll around, if you are there you are most likely working there and eating two out of your three meals a day without leaving the corporate safe-haven. Fallow will fit right in.
I wished I lived in London. Beautiful city. I pray I get to visit one day. The moment I touch down I am going straight to Fallow. I love seeing your business grow. Gentlemen continue to work hard and be humble. Your next venture will surpass your projections. People don't only love good food, they love good ambiance and good people cooking their food. Keep up the great work. Sending love and blessings and continued success from St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands 🇻🇮. ❤🔥🙏🏾
I would watch this as a series they're great reminds me of a realistic bear without all the hyperextended drama which does occur in the kitchen. As a cook I follow your videos for inspiration as a consumer I watch your videos good look guys. From across the pond, well the other side lol
Fairly new to your channel, i´ve really enjoyed the POV videos. I watch them when i´m working on my computer. The sounds of the hustle and bussle of a busy kitchen is kinda soothing when i´m knee deep in crap at work clonking away infront of a computer all day long 😅 If and when I get back to visiting the UK and London, I will for sure come dine at Fallow. It looks amazing! I wish u all the best in your new endevours. Allthough I can´t help but feel a little worried for you. Recession, a very robust vision for sure for your new restaurant, a new location that does not seem very tried and proved. But, I´m crossing my fingers and hope it´s everything and more that you wish for. 🍀

the corn ribs... insanity
I went today for the first time for a roast. Had the corn ribs, a beef roast and whiskey miso butter cocktail. One of the few roast dinners i've eaten where every single element on the plate was cooked perfectly. Service was incredible too. Wicked place.
If it’s anything like the other, it’ll be fucking amazing.
Good luck lads quality will win.
They deserve the best. Best energy, best intentions & best hearts deserve the best

This is documentary-quality editing and storytelling. I love this and I cannot wait to get to the UK one day so I can eat there!

I hope that you're making a series documenting the restaurant opening
You guys deserve it all, work ethic is unreal and your care and love towards food and the industry is second to none. Hope the new place thrives
Went tonight. The food and service was incredible, 10/10, congratulations!
Following this channel for quite a while now. Being from California, I would travel to London simply just to visit Fallow. These guys are absolutely phenomenal and deserve an immense amount of success in the future. Well done fellas.
Can't wait to try it! Hawksmoor in Wood Wharf is always packed.

We need a chef's table on Netflix for these.
Love this honesty, I'm not from London and I've never been to fallow but I have bought into your story via youtube and hope to visit one day. Good luck
Good luck with the new project 👍
Been fanboying in Miami but moving to Canary Wharf month’s end. Can’t wait!👏🏼

Good luck lads. I love Fallow. Please keep the same ethos in your new place. I can't wait to visit.
All the best to the whole team in the new venture. I love the small part with George at the end. I used to work with him in a prevoius kitchen!
Massive congrats on what you have achieved folks! You will absolutely smash this no doubt....
One of the most important views, realistic outlook on the hospitality, sustainability in this industry. Hugely inspiring. Good luck team.

Smash it Gents..
Well deserved, maybe a followers night in the future?! 👍
I wish you guys the best and are excited for your future growth!
In my extensive book you guys are epic and have the best approach. The world needs more like you!
Agreed. They're literally a model for me & I do smthng COMPLETELY different
Thanks John, hope you are well!
By far one of the best and most interesting cooking channels on UA-cam. Hope to visit soon. Good luck!
luve the mentality. good luck!!

I'm one of the lucky few breakfast on Saturday can't wait amazing place and people xx
Team work makes the dream work.
You guys are such a inspiration

Inspirational content, thanks for putting it out. Love the POV videos.

All worth it of course!
Almost as good as The Shed. Great work guys.
Best of luck in your new endeavor, I have confidence it will succeed just like Fallow has!!! I only wish I could come to London to enjoy it.
Oh, boys…I wish you would expand into the States. ❤
Guys you have a winning mentality, you are young you have nothing to lose. All the value you have is right there in the mirror, starring back at you. You will kill it in the new restaurant, stay strong 💥
Love you guys. Wish u the best of luck for the future
Good luck with this guys let your skills and food speak for itself, the rest will come!
Good luck guys ~ looks like I’ll have a new place to visit next time I’m in London!!
Better to try and take on the new challenge as opposed to not and always wondering if what might have been!
people usually keep this success to themselves, it's so terrific to see it on youtube for you guys. If i'm in the area i'll go
This will quickly become the most well known restaurant in London. We’ll also be seeing these chaps on TV a hell of a lot as well. Best of luck!
all the best to you two ❤
You will always have your talent, friendship, team-building skills and many other intangibles to fall back on. The rest is all "hardware" - it can go away and may feel shitty if it does, but you never want to wake up and look in the mirror and whisper "if only". Best of luck great success!
Constant successful risk taking that rewards, fuels passion and prevents burnout. Which keeps the best and brightest longing to work with you.
Congrats on this new project Chefs, it's inspiring!
Absolutely best of luck. This is only been up an hour but I've already watched it 2x. You're such an inspiration and practically a model in my own line of work & I do smthng COMPLETELY different
Can't wait to visit when I'm back in London
This is awesome!! I know it will thrive !
Good luck u will smash it 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Absolutely smash it lads. Been watching this business grow for many years. You deserve the success ❤ " Shout out Bolton"! Doing our town proud 👏
So ready for Roe ❤️
Is that the name of the new one? Beautiful
Sounds like it'll be seafood focused.
Massive risk opening in canary, huge natural footfall in Haymarket, and central location, whole vibe is different, good luck and hope you smash it.

Love the content, no doubt ROE will be a success! Got Fallow booked for June and can't wait to check it out.
Fair play to you lads, onwards and upwards!
