You would think he would start with the most recent or at least get them. Also it seems like his knowledge only goes back to the 80s-90s. I'd be naming off people from the 50s and 60s :p
I think nobody but Ron Dennis could/would pay for him. The last year at McLaren he got 1 million USD per race. Not exactly small change now, imagine how high that number was in 1993.
1992 like it said in the video. :p Emerson Fittipaldi drove for Penske, Senna contacted him (or vice versa) about testing. Senna was unhappy with the McLaren situation in that they weren't particularly competitive at that point and "looking" for something different. Have to also remember, Emmo was an F1 champ in the 70s who got lost in his career due to mismanagement who ended up finding great success here in North America where the politics of racing that Senna so despised weren't nearly as big of an issue as they were in F1. How much of that was just to use as a bargaining chip in his F1 contract negotiations versus how serious of an option it was we'll never know, but just think of a bizarro world for a moment where for 1993 you have Mansell and Senna in IndyCar.
+Empty Box No, 1993 because that's when he (Senna) had his 1 million per race deal with McLaren. The test was in 1992. I think he wasn't serious about a possible Indy deal, he was after a Williams seat. I remember Alain Prost being very upset when Ayrton told a reporter that he would consider driving for free if he could get his hands on a Williams... :-) anyway, Ayrton didn't do too bad in 1993. Donington Park, enough said.
3:33 - I just came back in this video to say that Pagenaud was right to say that in the future I would be a winner of the Indy 500. Congrats, Simon!!
Dude really predicted he’d win the Indy 500 in the future😂😂😂
I love how for both so far they're about to say Helio for the series champs but are just like "wait, nope" 😂😂
3:34 If he took this quiz today, he would be correct.
Nice video, he's a cheerful guy. Good luck to him.
Me in the future it actually crazy 🤯🤯🤯
He was nit wrong when he said me in the future
These are great!
He missed Power and Montoya 😂😂 his own teammates who also won Indycar formerly
I was thinking the same thing lol
last question is so epic
Am I the only one who thinks of the French guy from Talledega Nights every time I see Simon?
nope
yes "Frenchy can drive"
yes but just like the guy in Talladega Nights he's cute and funny lol
haha i thought i was the only one. he talks like hes got peanut butter on the roof of his mouth
Yes. I do.
Dario Franchitti no he didn't win a championship...love this UA-cam clip keep doing it
"Me in the future" - good luck with that
Well...
Take it back now...
Everybody forgets Dixon and power
WHY DOES NOBODY REMEMBER HUNTER-REAY
lol maybe it takes too long to pronounce it and the lose time XD
it's like grill the grid in f1
Pretty sure most of us could name more Indy500 champs than Simon haha
You would think he would start with the most recent or at least get them.

Since when did Ayrton Senna A.K.A " The King of Monaco" test an Indycar?
and believe it or not no one picked him up
I think nobody but Ron Dennis could/would pay for him. The last year at McLaren he got 1 million USD per race. Not exactly small change now, imagine how high that number was in 1993.
+mike74em that is a fare review of the time
