This would've been really cool, Imagi Studios' version of Astro Boy introduced me to the character so it would've been nice to have more people learn about Gatchaman
+MKJNetwork, I know this unreleased 3D CGI animated movie Gatchaman was going to be moved to Splash Entertainment or LuxAnimation and distributed by Lionsgate and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, wouldn't that be surprising
I wonder how this would have gone down if the movie was fully made? There was a reimagining done of Gatchaman called Gatchaman Crowds that is one of the prettiest Anime I've seen, and it even got two seasons. Would that have been made if Imagi still had the rights at that time?
Too bad the animation studio shut down due to the poor box office results from “Astro Boy (2009)”. I still liked the film, I would consider it my favorite guilty pleasure movie, but it sucks that the studio closed its doors forever. I really hope some company who knows about animation would revive the studio and return to form but that’s up for interpretation, unfortunately.
I wouldnt mind if this movie ever did finish. it wouldnt have to be accurate to the source material and they could change the characters personalities to be whatever they wanted. I just bet it would be nice and we could move on and forget about it if it ever happened
