H.E.A.T RELEASE NEW SINGLE & VIDEO "RISE"
Recently, H.E.A.T announced their brand-new album “H.E.A.T II” which is set to be released early next year. “H.E.A.T II” is the first album to be produced entirely by the band - with Jona Tee and Dave Dalone as producers. “This is what we would sound like if we made a debut album 2019, hence the title.”
The recent single “One By One” (released September 27th) gave a first glance into what is to come for the new album, followed today by the anthem “Rise”.
The band explains: “Rise is about uniting and rebelling against the powers that be. Whatever that may be is subjective to the listener.”
I am 53 years old. I grew up listening to Ozzy, Def, Iron Maiden [still my favorite band], The Crue, and all of the hair metal bands of the 80's. Then my music was lost in the new genres of rock that came out. Now I am seeing the resurgance of bands and the musical style I call my most beloved. I can honestly say that bands like this one have renewed my faith in good rock music.

Man you should definitely look at Heat's album Adress the Nation and tearing down the walls. Also take a listen to the band Eclipse with Bleed & Scream and the band The Night Flight Orchestra with any of their 4 albums. The Swedish Melodic Hard Rock scene is just unbelievable for the past decade, cheers

H.E.A.T is a once in a generation band. This song is totally amazing - 10/10. As a someone else commented, as a long-time (30 year) metal fan, H.E.A.T has restored my faith in music.

God, I fucking love this band. The only thing I regret about them is the fact that I didn’t learn about them so much sooner. This band is amazing. Cool melodies, great drums, powerful guitar tone, and a killer voice. They have everything that I look for in a modern hard rock band.

Exactly, everyone wants Kenny Lackremo back, I like Erik 1000 times more :(
Lackremo has more power on lower notes, but the way Erik interprets and connects the words is awesome.
Plus he sounds so fucking awesome on high notes!
If there is any band in the world that needs to be heard, and have massive recognition it most certainly is H.E.A.T. I've followed them since their album Address the Nation, and their music is powerful, genuine, from the heart, inspiring, brilliant and absolutely outstanding.
I always tell people if you're looking for truly awesome and genuine rock/hard rock/classic rock music, look to Sweden. I'm thinking rock music 101 is taught in schools over there.
So to the members of H.E.A.T. I/we wish you all the best and much success & fortune with your new album. You completely deserve it for the quality of music you write and produce. Make no mistake, you ARE one of the best bands out there right now.

Every once in a while I hear one song that is powerful enough to convince me to buy the whole album. "One By One" was that song...and now "Rise" matched it in intensity. I'm oversimplifying here, but these two songs sound like a fusion of the very best of Skid Row & Lynch Mob...and that my friends is just an incredible auditory experience. I'll be preordering the physical CD as soon as it becomes available for preorder. This is really awesome 80's styled metal.

This batch of songs for the new album is incredible; I hear so many influences all distilled into a power pop metal masterpiece.
Just brilliant this song just took my breath away and made me smile like my first Xmas morning! Vocals sound like Joey Tempest guitar sounds like John Norum, but he also has the power metal thing going with the AOR the whole band does. The lyrics speak for themselves, but let me say this much: I now have faith my own voice and AOR unique to me lyrics will be welcomed so thanks for the confidence boost!

Having heard and seen the version of this song by Dan Vasc multiple times, and I absolutely love it,,, it's on my playlist. It was interesting to have this video pop up in my feed today (17/09/23).
Now that I've seen this one, I'm torn between which is technically the better. Both Dan and Erik are brilliant and accomplished singers and that makes choosing between them very difficult, however, I know which one I prefer on a personal taste level.
I think I'll have to add this version to my playlist as well, just to be fair of course...😉
