I have the 9Barista and love it. I use it daily. It's very well made. The wood handles and plastic bits are no concern at all. I highly recommend a solid hand coffee grinder. Don't go cheap or you'll have problems. It doesn't take long to get it dialed in. I find clean up super easy. I easily make lattes. I have an electric Bodum milk frother and a french press that I also use for both milk, frothing, and regular coffee. I live fulltime in my 2018 850 Lance truck camper and have very little counter space. The 9Barista fits perfectly with my lifestyle. Highly recommended.
Wish the 9Barista came with a metal vent 💨 and not a plastic one for the price. A concern is washing 🧽 9B over time with it having a wood 🪵 handle. I like that they offers all spare parts.
This is a really cool invention. Just an observation from your comment on The moka pot, it starts infusing at about 70 degrees c. The problem is, this rises quickly , and it is hard to maintain an optimal brew temp. But it is possible..
I have a 9Barista. I just use it at home, though. I like it. I don't have another espresso machine. I couldn't really entertain with it. It's a beautiful design.
so the 9barista can be used on an open flame? does it work on flame and electric stovetop?
what hand grinder is best for espresso?
Take a look at the Comandante C40, it's built to last..
Hello! I also have the 9barista but I am not able to get cream. My coffee is plenty of flavor but has no cream. Does anyone know what might be the problem?
Thank you!!
I saw a video the other day of a guy with a 9barista and he tried everything on earth to get crema, but he just couldn’t. I won’t run down the entire list, but he tried everything. He finally got crema when he used a burr grinder to grind his coffee Instead of a blade Grinder.
I have bought a burr grinder and I grind the beans sand texture and I finally got the cream!
If you speak about the mokapot, saying it is bad because it's at the boiling point of water... then you have to learn to work with the mokapot.
