Find out which head coaches ranked at the top of each division in these rankings. To wrap up the show, the pair break down the overall tabulation of all the offense, defense and head coach rankings (22:30).

Ryan’s is 1 and Zac Taylor is 4?! Taylor took over the worst team in the league and then went to the Super Bowl and then the very next year the afc title game. Both years they had at least 3 offensive lineman out in the playoffs.
Were they the worst team because they actually just sucked or, were they the worst team because they had just been mismanaged? The Buccaneers sucked before Brady showed up but, it wasn’t from a lack of quality throughout the roster. It was just mismanaged and bad QB play.
The first year Taylor was there they completely remade the defense through free agency. Brought in Hendrickson, von bell, Awuzie, bj hill in a trade, First draft with Taylor they took Burrow, Higgins, Logan Wilson. Next years draft got chase and cam Taylor Britt
C'mon man...Taylor also had the number 1 overall pick one year and a top ten pick the next to get Burrow and Jamar Chase....also the Bengals' owner finally stopped being cheap and spent some of the 80mil 😂 that he was sitting on...Zac Taylor did nothing but be a good OC....chill with the hyperbole on Taylor's "rise" 😂
They should have did the whole coaching staff together or at least HC and coordinators.

Tomlin is the only coach in the afc north without a franchise QB since Ben retired and he still is able to beat on the teams in the north! 😊 Mike T is definitely the #1 coach in that division...and currently he has an 8 game win streak against Harbaugh's ravens 👍

Pretty Reasonable tbh. Campbell started with the worst roster in the NFL and made it to the NFC championship in 3 years. Lafleur inherited a solid roster with an MVP QB and made it to the exact same place Campbell did.
They should do the whole league and start from the bottom. Siriani is the absolute worst (has ZERO qualifications) followed by Saleh. On the opposite end, Andy Reid is number 1.
Feel free to correct me on this but Shanahan has been beating the bricks off McVay. McVay is 5-10 vs Shanahan.
Shanahan is a great coach with an amazing team. McVay is an amazing coach with a great team. I love the Rams but if McVay had all the weapons that the 9ers do, he'd probably have 2 or 3 rings by now.

McVay failed to win a SB with weapons that are very comparable to the Niners. And he didn’t win until he got a QB.
He also had an equally comparable defense probably even better defensive personnel. His front 4 was better than what the Niners have now. Edge at linebacker for the 49ers. But a better secondary for the Rams.
I imagine when Shanahan gets a QB of Staffords caliber he will win a SB. Whether Purdy is that guy is hard to tell. This will be his second full season. Too early for that talk.

As a nines fan. Until Kyle takes a super bowl home McVay is on top. He has just come up short.
Lafleur is simply more proven, better, consistent, and dealt with more adversity with different groups than Dan Campbell.

He is still a good coach, though. The guy never has had a losing season, and with his offenses being so bad and predictable the past few years, that is saying a lot. Is he belicheck? No, but he is still a good coach and a good motivator

Just like people take C.J. Stroud take over Jordan Love, even though Love had better stats, people underrate and disrespect Matt LaFluer the same way. Better resume than Campbell. Lower ranking. It's very frustrating, as a Packers fan. I'll admit it. Sigh.

Matt LaFluer has a 59-31 record to Campbell's 31-41-1. And Campbell's higher... sigh... are these really "experts"?
LaFleur inherited a consistent team with one of the best QBs of all time, MCDC was given a bottom 3 team with Jared Goff. Both are good but Detroit is a historically awful franchise that turned around completely, the Packers are a good organization and made a smart hire that revitalized the team, but are always good.
Packers have been solidly consistent, MCDC took what was arguably the worst team in the league in the Lions and turned them into Super Bowl contenders in 3 years. The Lions improved under Campbell every year so far - you can't say the same for LaFleur

Penei Sewell, St Brown, Gibbs, Williams…all drafted with Dan Campbell as the head coach. Maybe he just knows how to develop players too. He is also 4-2 against Lafleur, 3-1 as an underdog.
The Packers team was not much different last year than the year before. The only obvious difference was Love for Rodgers, which on the surface seems big, but then you dig just a little bit, and you see that Rodgers was a bottom 8 starting QB the last season in GB. Love wasn’t replacing an MVP. He was replacing a guy who was not good. The comeback GB had at the end of ‘22 winning 4 in a row before Detroit bounced them week 18 had nothing to do with the play of Rodgers. So where you see some magical performance by Lafleur, I see a team that was 1 game better than the year before with a lot of the same roster and better QB play.
I'm sorry, but having campbell over lafleur is insane. Yes, dan campbell is a good coach, but I want to see him with different coordinators; how do his teams respond then? Without ben johnson, is his offense still as good? Lafleur lost Rodgers and Hackett and the offense didnt really slow down. What pushes Lafleur over the edge for me is the developmental job lafleur has done with managing and developing such young team and coaching them into great players so fast.
The Lions core players, except Goff & Anzolone, are very young as well. Last I checked Lions players dominate the top under 25 players lists. MCDC is a great developer of players. Goff & Anzolone have resurrected their careers.

Shanahan deserves to be #1 rn in the division, he’s taken his team to 4 nfc championships and 2 SBs. I just wish they would have expanded on AZ and Sea cause the NFC west is going to be loaded once again.

McVay pulled off the win in Stafford's first year with the team and with a safety brought back after two years in retirement. that's pulling it off against the odds, compared to the guy that couldn't do it with a stacked team.
Bucky has watched no Cardinals film, the continuous Cardinals disrespect is out of line. How do you put a coach that hasn't even coached a game yet ahead of Gannon who outperformed expectations last year with Kyler out for half the year.

Mike Mccarthy is the mist overrated coach of the last 20 years probably. Doc Rivers of the NFL. ARod would have atleast 1 more ring if Mccarthy wasn't the coach

This is a fair take.
I live in SF and Harbaugh had a lot of issues with relationships. It started out one way and ended differently. He was effective and made tough calls that worked out. As a guy who used to watch him play qb i’d like to see a less quirky/more wise Jim have success.
