I went to Vikings-Bills. It was the first time I ever went to a pro sports game. Even though I saw my team lose, let's just say I'm coming back for more.
The Browns being up 7 with 28 seconds to go and losing is one of the most Browns things, ever. The divisional round game between Kansas City and Buffalo is probably the greatest game I have ever seen. Possibly the most flawless performance by two quarterbacks in the same game in the last 20 years, if not ever.
That 2001 Bears team was absolutely bizarre, they were not expected to be anything special that year due to missing the playoffs the previous 6 seasons including 4 consecutive years with double digit losses, yet went 13-3 in 2001, second best record in the NFL, and even though I’m not a Chicago fan, I still loved watching them. Literally the week before that Bears-Browns game, they were playing the 49ers and were down 28-9 in the third quarter. The Bears came all the way back to tie it at 31-31 and send it into overtime. The Bears then won it the exact same way as their game against the Browns: a game winning pick six by Mike Brown in overtime.
@reidcraig3739 they won 13 games but it’s because they beat a bunch a bad teams in close games and then get smashed by quality teams. Wouldn’t shock me if they hover around .500 all year this year.
Now I want to throw in a game from 2003 that Jon Bois fans might be pretty familiar with. That game between the saints and the jaguars where, on the last play of the game, the saints managed to complete 3 laterals to score a touchdown that would have tied the game. Except John Carney missed the extra point to eliminate the saints from playoff contention :'(
I feel like the Jags should have been on this list twice. The game you're referring to, and last year in the playoffs against the Chargers. But being a small market, the Jags weren't featured at all.
Yes, that was called the River city really. Definitely a good game but the option they gave was crazier. 14 to 35 score with like 3 1/2 mins to go. That’s impossible
The Vikings and the Ravens made NFL history in Week 14 of the 2013 season by combining for five total touchdowns in the final two minutes of the game as Joe Flacco found Marlon Brown in the back of the end zone for a game winning touchdown for the Ravens to beat the Vikings 29-26 in possibly the wildest finish in a game filled with snow!
I was there, I couldn't believe what was going on. I'm so glad that this weekend in honor of the 25th Anniversary Celebration of M&T Bank Stadium, both Dennis Pitta and Marlon Brown will be the honorary legends of the game as a tribute to the greatest moment in stadium history.
Indeed. I still remember the Red Zone host Andrew going nuts over it. Red Zone kept having to switch back over because there were back and forth touchdowns.
I was at that game. Usually when you leave after a game you are either happy you won or pissed you lost. That was the only game I have ever left where most people in the crowd were saying, "we did win, right?". Crazy game and glad I was there. Go Ravens!!!
Honorable mention: That Monday night game between the Bears and Cardinals where Chicago was down 23-3 and came back without scoring a single TD on offense
That's 2008 steelers defense was the best out of Tomlins career. He said it in big Ben's podcast. It was scary. James Harrison made one of the best plays in superbowl history with a 99 yard td
The Vikings have been in the losing side of a lot of greatest-of-all-time or season-pivotal games. As a Vikings fan, it just feels so damn good to finally have winning moments in these types of games, starting with the Minneapolis Miracle. The goosebumps I get every time I see it is just unreal.
I can't say much though. As a packer fan I got excited to see em on this list 3 times. But unfortunately every single one was a loss in overtime lmao I just like to talk shit 😂
Thanks for the video NFL Throwback! The Steelers-Cardinals Super Bowl was an amazing game. Also, Packers-Cardinals in here twice which is crazy but well deserved at the same time.
That was one of the craziest Wild Card weekends of all time. Before you had the two awesome Browns/Steelers and 49ers/Giants games on Sunday, the day before on Saturday, Peyton Manning and the Colts got absolutely demolished 41-0 by, of all quarterbacks and of all teams, Chad Pennington and the Jets. After that, the Packers, who up to that point had NEVER lost a home playoff game ever got thoroughly outplayed 27-7 in Lambeau by the exciting Michael Vick and a Falcons team that had just barely snuck in the playoffs thanks to a tie
Steelers/Cardinals superbowl is one of my favorite all time games. I'm not really a fan of either team, but that game was just so good throughout. The James Harrison int is just such an iconic play. Probably a top 5 all time Superbowl.
The NFL rated Super Bowl XLIII (Steelers @ Cardinals) as the #1 Super Bowl ever. Most people would have that game along with Super Bowls XLII, LI, and XLIX as the top Super Bowls.
The Harrison play should be ranked #1 - in all likelihood a 14-point swing (Anquan might have dropped it or something, never know) in a title game decided by 4 points. It's even better when you consider that it was purely film study that made it possible. I can't find the article, but I read that just weeks earlier, the Chargers stung the Steelers on the exact same play for a TD because Harrison rushed the passer. When Arizona lined up, Harrison recognized it and bluffed the rush before dropping back into the lane.
2010 Coughlin throwing that clipboard always gets me. I watched that game live and start laughing every time cuz he told Dodge NOT to kick to D. Jack and you can see why 😂😂😂

2012 should've been Ravens at Broncos divisional game. That game had everything, punt and kickoff return for td, mile high miracle, interception in OT leading to game winning Tucker kick in double OT. Plus Denver had the Ray Lewis retirement taunting billboard. This catapulted the Ravens to the SB where they won it. Lions vs Titans was just a regular game. Nowhere near the same stakes.
I was looking for that one too! That was indeed a crazy one. Remember I was riding the greyhound back from MD to NC. Got to one of my last terminal stops and seen they were still going into 2OT. That was a wild one.
@@gbrow1604 A lot of people did. Our home games are basically road games at the moment. Opponents’ fans routinely outnumber us. I was at the Niners Saints game from 2011. My dad has been a fan since he moved to the US since the 80’s and loves Steve Young. I'll say something for the NFL. Over the last 5-6 years we're seeing College style madness to the pro game. I don't know how much more exciting (or in some cases for me personally, heartbreaking) these games can get!
the worst part is that it was a bad play by williams. that’s why throwing a shoulder isn’t always the best. ESPECIALLY WITH 10 SECONDS LEFT IN THE GAME
@@hoi4enjoyer37It wasn’t so much about that in my opinion, he was afraid to pick up a pass interference because he got there too early. He was literally better off taking the penalty as opposed to whiff and allow Diggs to score. Granted the Vikings would’ve been in field goal range but it would’ve been a long field goal that the Saints could’ve blocked.
Bro it's crazy how Larry Fitzgerald was a major player in 3 of the games on this list, especially considering how rarely the Cardinals were good. Man was special
Man watching some of these games back really just makes me feel bad for fitz. Dont think theres ever been a player that deserved a ring they didnt get in sports history more than him.
“It’s not football, it’s ping pong!” What a line. So glad to see my Colts with epic Ws in the 03 and 06 games. Our wildcard win vs KC def could’ve been the rep for 2013 too.
Miami miracle and NOLA no call were both 2018, and nowhere close to the level of crazy mentioned. Like that game was as crazy as they come. Was also thinking mile high for 2012. Most recent double OT game
That’s the beauty of NFL, every season there’s always that one game, and you never know which two teams are gonna give you that game. When it does happen, you are simply never prepared for it. Only the NFL
34:17 my favorite one, I’m surprised they didn’t add the Colts Vikings largest comeback to this as well, because that was crazy as well especially after being down 33 to nothing at half time and then going all the way up to 39-36. SKOL
watching that game because it was the only thing on at the car dealership I was at was what got me into Football. Fighting the Colts and their overwhelming lead and at the same time, the officials was insane on its own. But coming out on top at the end was what sealed the deal for me
As a Patriots fan, I'm very happy that I didn't see the Buffalo Bills Fan reaction again. It's too much for that person I rather not see again with all due respect. Great list. Wish Super Bowl 49 was there but respect for Seahawks getting a break they really need. ;)

Colts vs Patriots in 2006 is my favorite game of all time. As a Manning fan I knew at that point that we'd won the Super Bowl. What a great time to be a 10-year old boy
I was born the year of the Colts Bucs game. My dad is a Colts fan, and honestly? I think that comeback may have cemented my fate of being a Homer for life.
I had to skip the 2009 Cardinals Packers game, 2014 Seahawks Packers game and the 2015 Cardinals Packers game. I can’t watch those, I get heartbroken all over again
idk man I'd still say the bills and vikings were crazier. amazing one-handed catch by diggs JJettas catch of the year on 4th and 18 to keep the game alive goal line stand to stop the vikes from scoring bills fumble the snap and vikes score anyways they go back and forth until it's tied going into OT. although having literally the greatest comeback of all time would almost always be crazier, I think the events in that bills vs vikings were just too insane to leave out.
I’m going 2021 just strictly because of the Divisonal round from that year. That Divisional round was some of the greatest football ever played. Every game was insanely entertaining except for say 49ers-Packers
@@AVSFAITHFUL25 Yeah everything was great but even the niners packers came down to the final seconds. I feel like 2022 was equally as good with the vikings-bills, great wild card games, and a high scoring SuperBowl. Maybe the seasons just get better every year.
@@AVSFAITHFUL25yeah like the other dude said the divisional round had the best series of games I’d say in recent memory for a year in the playoffs. I didn’t think bills chiefs would top the craziness of Brady and the rams

I thought the Steelers-Cowboys game in 2016 would have made the list, but I totally forgot about the Super Bowl comeback. 😂. I remember most of these games! Especially from 2006 to last year. @@mariosnum1fanAlso 2020 if Brady and the Bucs didn't exist
29:48 love how you can see the entire saints sideline progressively getting their hopes crushed as kittle avances each yard with a saints defender hanginf in his mask
Why you gotta do this to me 😔😔
Mike brown's back to back game winning touchdowns in overtime cones to mind
I'll say something for the NFL. Over the last 5-6 years we're seeing College style madness to the pro game. I don't know how much more exciting (or in some cases for me personally, heartbreaking) these games can get!
As a rams fan the 2018 game was surreal I still go back and watch it every now and then. Best game I have ever watched
The Minneapolis miracle is very painful to me (saints fan)
That bounty gate game is very painful for me
(Vikings fan)
the worst part is that it was a bad play by williams. that’s why throwing a shoulder isn’t always the best. ESPECIALLY WITH 10 SECONDS LEFT IN THE GAME
Hang in there bro (another saints fan)
@@hoi4enjoyer37 I promise you he was paid to do that
@@hoi4enjoyer37It wasn’t so much about that in my opinion, he was afraid to pick up a pass interference because he got there too early. He was literally better off taking the penalty as opposed to whiff and allow Diggs to score. Granted the Vikings would’ve been in field goal range but it would’ve been a long field goal that the Saints could’ve blocked.
The 49ers Saints game from 2019 was an instant classic
Bro it's crazy how Larry Fitzgerald was a major player in 3 of the games on this list, especially considering how rarely the Cardinals were good. Man was special
it's criminal that he never won a super bowl
Probably one of the most beautiful onside kicks I’ve seen from the colts kicker in 2003
15:34 - Great timing with the fart sound + leg lifting 🤣
2002-03 wild card San Francisco 49ers comeback win over New York Giants was a crazy comeback and TO was unstoppable 💯💯
NFL Throwback Never Disappoints Me Keep Up The Good Work
Man watching some of these games back really just makes me feel bad for fitz. Dont think theres ever been a player that deserved a ring they didnt get in sports history more than him.
Denver vs Dallas in 2013 (51-48) is unforgettable as a Cowboys fan. Peyton faking out the camera guy with a bootleg TD is forever a cursed image 😂
I was looking for that game on this list, legit was a game I’ll remember forever
How about the Colts coming back from down 38-10 to beat Kansas City in the playoffs that was 2013.
@@pp3k3jamail Superman Luck! Gem of a game forsure
31:23 is the greatest bathroom break in NFL history and it’s not up for debate
“It’s not football, it’s ping pong!” What a line.
So glad to see my Colts with epic Ws in the 03 and 06 games. Our wildcard win vs KC def could’ve been the rep for 2013 too.
31:23 Lamar got a turtle-head poppin' out.
Pulling a Paul Pierce.
I missed it when it happened live, but the Minneapolis Miracle always brings a tear to my eye.
That colts bucs game in 03 made me an instant fan for life now I’m stuck with the most horrific franchise of the last decade
Another banger from nfl throwback 🙌
2011 Saints at 49ers was the greatest game I've every seen
Would've been nice to see Mile High Miracle 2012, Miami Miracle and NOLA No Call 2018, and Hail Murray 2020.
Miami miracle and NOLA no call were both 2018, and nowhere close to the level of crazy mentioned. Like that game was as crazy as they come. Was also thinking mile high for 2012. Most recent double OT game
Both Cardinals/Packers games on this list are core memories for me. Watching them with my dad and just jumping in our living room
4:30 - Colts fans in 2003: 🤯
Colts fans in 2022: 🤢
edit: not in the video, but if you know you know.
Watching the Vikings/Bills game last year was a helluva experience. Could've shown the whole second half.
I can’t believe how many crazy games the Vikings had.
Thanks for this video NFL Throwback! Steelers-Cardinals Super Bowl was one of the greatest games ever IMO.
Another classic from NFL Throwback!!!!!
Great list. Wish Super Bowl 49 was there but respect for Seahawks getting a break they really need.
;)
Rodgers really got screwed out of a lot of deep playoff runs. He always stepped up too.
As a Seahawks fan, interesting choice on the 2014 season to show Seahawks vs Packers, instead of the Superbowl that they went on to throw away
They probably thought the audience would have Patriots fatigue if they added yet another Patriots SuperBowl game to the list
2013 COULD HAVE been
The Epic ROMO vs Peyton Manning shootout!!
That one was one for the ages

Colts vs Patriots in 2006 is my favorite game of all time. As a Manning fan I knew at that point that we'd won the Super Bowl. What a great time to be a 10-year old boy
The Colts comeback against the Chiefs in the playoffs not being on here is insane 🤣 Luck has already been forgotten
holy cow the vikings commentator during the bills game is a national treasure "yes, drop that ball Josh Allen!" 😂
2003 Vikings vs Cardinals should get an honorable mention, as well as Seahawks vs Cardinals 2016 week 7
31:26 Mans had a Code Brown moment 😂 💩
We were spoiled with some AMAZING Super Bowls at the end of the 2000s.
I was born the year of the Colts Bucs game. My dad is a Colts fan, and honestly? I think that comeback may have cemented my fate of being a Homer for life.
That Rams-Chiefs game gave me one hell of an anxiety attack. Quite possibly the greatest game I ever watched
This is the best video I didn’t know I needed before the season starts. Amazing.
What a block by #74 in the 2011 clip for the bootleg run by Alex smith😮💪🏾🔥
I had to skip the 2009 Cardinals Packers game, 2014 Seahawks Packers game and the 2015 Cardinals Packers game. I can’t watch those, I get heartbroken all over again
The onside kick in the Colts Buccaneers game is the best onside kick I've seen in my life.
Cardinals fans will never heal from that Steelers Super Bowl loss
17:12 WOW 2012
The greatest game in the world …
And we get the next chapter starting tomorrow.
Perfect appetizer video for 2023.
that Browns-Ravens game 2020 was too good
The reaction to the cardinals beating the vikings at the last second is still so funny
I get the temptation to pick the Super Bowl for 2007 but Patriots-Ravens was a far, far crazier game.
I would say the 38-3 comeback against the colts was crazier than the bills game. It's just the bills are good so I get it
idk man I'd still say the bills and vikings were crazier.
amazing one-handed catch by diggs
JJettas catch of the year on 4th and 18 to keep the game alive
goal line stand to stop the vikes from scoring
bills fumble the snap and vikes score anyways
they go back and forth until it's tied going into OT.
although having literally the greatest comeback of all time would almost always be crazier, I think the events in that bills vs vikings were just too insane to leave out.
Nah I got bills Vikings
Well crazier isn't the same more entertaining imo. I agree the bills were a better game but not crazier is all
Steelers vs Bengals 2022 week 1 was a crazy game ending.
Whoever Made This List Deserves A Raise
The 2022 NFL season was the most memorable season ever.
For the past 10 years, 2014, 2017 and 2021 we're the most memorable in my opinion.
@@BlackGamingDude 2017 jags were built different, happy to see them succeed with a complete new coaching staff and roster
The two regular season games I remember losing my mind watching were on there - 2012 and 2013. Glad they weren't overlooked
Yes!!! Thanks for this upload! The first mentioned game didn't end until well into 1ish am Tuesday morning. It was crazy!! Dolphins choked bad.
2015: Cam got robbed
2016: Ryan got robbed
2017: Brees got robbed
The fall of the NFC South
The Vikings may not always win but is sure as hell is entertaining.
Ravens-Broncos 2012 playoffs was insane.
Was really hoping to see the Chargers comeback against the Chiefs in 2018 where they cameback from down 14 in the final like 2 mins to win by 1, but unfortunately it was in the same year as Mahomes/Goff's shootout
I thought the Steelers-Cowboys game in 2016 would have made the list, but I totally forgot about the Super Bowl comeback. 😂. I remember most of these games! Especially from 2006 to last year. I remember week 17 game of the 06-07 season when the Giants almost beat the Patriots to ruin the perfect regular season that if the met in the Super Bowl I didn’t think that Patriots would win. Good list, definitely brought back some memories!
These defenses really let rodgers down 3 times in OT of the playoffs
Man, those late '00s Cardinals were a fun squad. 2015 was the year it should've happened 😢 too bad Cam Newton happened that year. I believe they would've had a real shot at the broncos.
We had a few weird games in 2001. The San Francisco game the week before was wild too.
