Your content is amazing sir! You're going places with this. Keep up the good work! And I really appreciate the spirituality that you're carrying in your life. Thanks for being transparent and original!
Really appreciate your kind words brother. Just trying to add some value 😃
What is the approximate range of rent in Ottawa for sharing room? And can you please tell approximate total living cost in Ottawa for international student who live on sharing base?because I will come overthere in May 2024 at Lambton college.
Hi brother i’m also coming there in same intake. Would love to connect and we can share accommodation. Reply if interested
@@harshitgupta6775 sure why not bit how can we communicate with each other?
Hey Jainish, depending on where you are looking for a place, the range can be anywhere between $700-$900 for a single room in a house or an apartment. Ofcourse, a lot of other factors also comes into it. Your grocery, wifi, electricity, phone bill, transport. I would say keep a budget of between $1200-$1500 every month. When I was studying I was living in a very small room in a big house, it was enough for me and I use to pay $500 there. So as I said, keep doing your research on rentals.ca, FB marketplace, etc. Best of luck :)
@@MPM100 thankyou
Bro iam working professional.. really liked your apartment..can you pls share rhe apartment details so i can search for availability
Thanks
lease must be 1-2 years old at least. Check with your building the latest rental price. Rents are increased by 10-20% in last 1 year. This one should be at least 2000 dollar right now. Also, the availability is also an issue.
The lease is definitely 2 years old but I just checked with them, the current price has just increased by $100 since its an old construction (I am assuming, still the cheapest considering building around this place)
Good video but I think you have the wrong data about having a nearby supermarket (Loblaws). That area, West Centretown, is a “food dessert”.
Not really, The Independant store is like 7 min walk from there and loblaws is 7 min drive. Not too bad actually. In fact alot of restaurants as well around.
What should we bring from India if moving to Canada first time?
I will be coming to Ottawa for my PhD at UOttawa this August, and your video has been really helpful to get insight into what to expect for housing. Can you share the exact location of your building? I will be looking for accommodation in the coming days; I have thought of my budget to be around 600-700 CAD maximum for sharing or a private room. If you could shed some light on which areas I should look for within this budget, that are either near to UOttawa or at least near Confederation line (O-Train) stations that can get me directly to UOttawa?
Hey, sounds exciting. I would recommend looking for a private room in Sandy hill area. It's 5 min walking from the campus and you can find rooms in that range too. Spend some last few months with family, its the golden period :)
Badey Bhaiya ka room is more neat n clean😅, Loved the night view.👌😊😎🤘
@@MPM100 hahahahha... sure sure. And thank you so much for the info. Hope to meet you there, if fate allows
He's definitely the cleaner one haha
Feeling glad to know about the city through your video
Is there available apartment in the ottawa as you have
I am planning to come there in coming may
Did you help to get the apartment 🙏❤❤
I hope you have been able to find the accommodation. Sorry I was not able to response to it quick. I hope you are liking the snow if you are still here :)
Please tell me where did you buy these second-hand or multi-hand things like the printer? Thank you for sharing your experience.
Brother, your video is amazing , appreciate if you will share the building name?
Thanks so much for your video. I am considering moving to Ottawa, can you tell me the name of the building where you are living? I would like to rent 2 bedroom apartment, and how much is it? really appreciate it if you could give me an answer.
Absolutely! However, I just checked with them and they are all rented out but you can search up more apartments in centertown, Ottawa. I hope that helps :)
Prices has increased a lot , I think you still have old rent fees , there is nothing like that nowadays for that price .:(
They actually have, but considerable here they are still a little below then usual.
Hi brother
I want to ask about the job opportunities in Ottawa and what about the rent of single private room in this city?
Hey Sumit, appreciate your comment. Their are jobs here but comes down to networking and connecting with people. When it comes to rent, i believe 1 bed can be anywhere between $1100 - $1300. Also depends on which area are you looking for.
Please share where I can find 2nd hand stuff in cheap price, I am in Ottawa. I came here on August
Hey, welcome to Canada. I hope you are enjoying your first snow here. You can find that on FB marketplace, kijiji and at Thrift stores. :)
Hi Mentor what is the present Rent in this area for 1 BED AND 2 BED AS U HAVE SHOWN IN UR VIDEO that u r paying just 1450 cad for 2 room set....and how is the job market right now there..in ottawa and which is this area ...u living in ...
Hey, so the current prices can be found for 1 bed - $1100 - $1300 and for 2 bed $1600 - $1900. Also considering the fact that these prices are for absolute basic apartments. The job market is decent, comes down to networking and job applying strategies. If you are interested, you can also join our free job strategy webinar every month :)
Am a bachelor and i am looking for 1 bed room for a fair price? Any suggestions
Hi You are doing greate video. Can you please help in getting 1bhk/2bhk rental. Any suggestion will be helpful. Travelling to Ottawa on 31st July. Thank you!
Hey, best of luck for your trip. Here are few suggestions you should start looking for places to rent:
Craigslist - Craigslist is a classifieds website that includes listings for short-term and long-term rentals. It's another good resource for finding rentals in Canada.
RentFaster.ca - RentFaster.ca is a Canadian website that offers listings for rentals in various cities across the country.
PadMapper - PadMapper is a rental search website that allows users to search for apartments, houses, and other types of rentals based on location and other criteria.
Zumper - Zumper is a rental search website that allows users to search for apartments, houses, and other types of rentals based on location and other criteria.
I hope these websites are helpful in your search for rentals in Canada! It's always a good idea to carefully research and review listings before making any decisions.
what is the proper address of the building
can u suggest best condo for the family of 4 soon will be moving to ottawa from india Delhi just wanted to know the best n cheap condo available right now....
I would recommend checking that on rentals.ca or marketplace. I was able to find this place using these two platforms. Also depends what are your requirements. I lived in downtown because my work was 10 minutes walk. I hope your transition was smoother in Ottawa and you are enjoying the first winter here :)
Hey plz help my friend
Am moving to Ottawa as an immigrant next September
How much would it cost to find a private studio for me, my wife and our 2 years old kid
Some misinformation right from the start. Ottawa's downtown is not the cheapest downtown in Canada. Calgary, Montréal, Edmonton and Ville de Québec all have more affordable downtowns. Even in Ontario, London has a cheaper downtown than Ottawa.
Appreciate you sharing your thoughts. I also compared it with all my friends living in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and found out the prices our lesser in Ottawa. Also read an article on it before shooting the video. Talking about Quebec, the rent is less because the taxes on other things are more there comes down to the same thing.
Bro how’s the food delivery work in ottawa? Like uber eats , skip , doordash please reply
I heard its decent, totally depends on the time and which day you're doing. i heard weekends are good. In fact, I was planning on making a vlog on this and showing how much can we earn in a day from uber eats. I think you gave me that motivation :)
@@MPM100 yes bro shoot a vlog. Thanks
Where to find different items at good rates ??
Please help me find an apartment, I will move to Ottawa and looking for apartment from 1st August. Really difficult to find in budget as I am moving alone from India 1600-1800CAD is tooo much!
Hey, appreciate your comment. It is indeed too much to go for but I think those are for 1 or 2 bed apartment. I would recommend going for single room in a 4-5 people house. They are usually going to cost you $600-$700 a month.
Hi bro I got offer letter from Lambton Ottawa campus, should I take admission in this college? Please give me some advice specially for part-time jobs. Waiting for your reply 🙏

I am moving to Ottawa after watching this video 😂
Ajoo bhai :0
Dont it is not cheap
Ottawa is not cheap Saskatoon or Montréal are cheapest
But comparing to the cold side and language barrier they are high too in those areas. What do you think?
Exactly it is not cheap at all unless you move to vanier which is sketchy or country side which is far
Things seems to get Cheaper as you become a Full time working personal and your Salary increase!
Priorities also change with time and the money in the pocket! For student this apartment might be considered costly since they need to manage Second years fees, House rents and utilities, groceries, phone bills, transportation costs and few more things within 1200($15*80 hrs a month)+ approximately 650 GIC!
Wah budha ki status uper daru... Plz do respect
I got your address
So should I make Chai or coffee? ;)
