    Naaaasssssttyyy. He can shoot and he has great size. Still don't know why he wasn't a #1 pick. Future NBA star for sure!

    Evan Turner's going to be a solid pro. He might be the best overall prospect in this year's class. Can play every position on the floor. We will see if he will be able to produce against NBA defenders. They are a lot more physical than Big Ten defenders.
    Btw-I always wonder about the purpose of these workouts. Why is he conducting a shootaround with no defense? It's not like he will be shooting like this in a game.

    @Big7Artur he did what the team needed people are starting to get accustomed to 20.0 point rookies, but some guys need a 1 or 2 years to mature and and get used to the game speed

    As a Sixers fan in Philadelphia I can say that Evan Turner would be a step in the right direction for the franchise. Andre Iguodala could go to back Small Forward. Jrue Holiday would have Turner with him in the backcourt. Young may be the odd man out, if the Sixers can't trade Andre and his contract elsewhere. But I'd like to see all three of them on the court most of the time and one big, EB or Dalembert. With that said, I think the Sixers are still 2-3 years away from seriously contending.

    @kristianhellasolid what they did is they video taped it until he made a good amount of shots in a row until he missed and then they edited out his misses. that is y u never see it in a continuous motion. if he was really making all those in a row it would show him moving from spot to spot and making them, instead of it being cut

  • @TayGizzle
    @TayGizzle 14 років тому

    @kpbernard how can you compare him to Okafor? Turner plays 3 positions and has a swiss army knife-like array of skills. Okafor coming out was an undersized defensive center with a limited post game. BIG difference

  • @cksdayofff
    @cksdayofff 14 років тому

    @yosukemiida you don't build your team around a ray allen, rashard lewis or a michael redd.
    you do build your team around a brandon roy or an evan turner

  • @kemoblue4u
    @kemoblue4u 13 років тому

    @uhti29153 The difference between the #1 overall and #2 over usually is NOT huge. It all depends on what the team with the number one overall NEEDS. If a C and a PG are both projected to go top 3 and my team needs a C and I have the #1 pick IM PICKING THE C! The next team will probably pick the PG with the #2 overall.

    Evan Turner has a sweet jumpshot , but his hand is like almost on top of the ball . He has way more potenial the Wall cause he is like a 6 ' 7 PG . He can pass , Shoot , Drive , rebound , he is quick . He is the best Rookie in the league , no doubt .

    @kpbernard I see what you're saying, you're saying Wall has more of an upside than Turner, he does but I don't think Turner will be as bad as Okafor

    @DCSeanTaylor21 John Wall looked tired in that workout. I'm sure he went through a lot more drills than what they showed on the video. The video was only show 4:35 long. Normally when your doing drills its a few hours.

    its a lot easier to hit all those shots when nobody's on you. When John Wall practices his jumpshot he has a person put a hand in his face. He's gonna be a better shooter than what people think.

    he's not introduced with a term in basketball called "missing" a shot...i know he missed one shot that day he had to man, something tells me he's a future MJ i might be exaggerating but really how often do you see a guy hit so many jumpshots in a drill without a miss

    This kid is only going to get better over time. John Wall has peaked. Wall is a decent player but not a good shooter. Evan is an old school player who is out of position on the Sixers. This kid is a point guard. I would have loved this kid to have played one more year at Ohio State. It makes me sad. Talk about a super team if Turner stayed.
