@zoukax , well put... it was a real treat watching Rose and Rondo go at it head to head a couple years back in the playoffs. the quicks and crosses that both of these guy play with at all time is crazy. neither of them could stay in front of the other. clearly a full team defense is needed to contain these new school elite pg's like rose and rondo. lets see if john wall can join their class of caliber. supposedly he can but i seem to remember rose being a little better coming out

The devotion and the drive he has to be better than he currently is.. yea hes MVP .. and some people might think hes amazing and the best ... but to derrick rose... hes not the best , which is why he keeps working on getting to the top... i love this kids heart ...hes going to be ridiculous someday ( not that he isn't already )

derrick is just crazy and amazing in basketball.

His quickness and strength overshadow his jumpshooting. He doesent shoot bad at all. 45+% is not bad at all.

@lukemartin41 those are practice or warmup jumpers. everyone jumps higher on their jumper in games so they don't get blocked.

the contact drills were too light unless it was strictly for conditioning. not enough contact initiated or maintained to to simulate nba contact. but the drills overall were sound game situated drills.

@zoukax honestly at this point rose is waaay better than rondo. that playoff series was 2 years ago and rose was a rookie. he is only better now and his game is more refined. im expecting d.rose to have an MVP caliber season
