Love these vlogs, we bought our first ever caravan in June last year and we love love love it. Been away only 4 times last year but looking for lots more holidays this year 👍
It's good that sales are strong. Does make you wonder if it's the start of people that will be going abroad selling their caravans. Interesting times. Thanks for sharing. Graham
Thanks Graham, some interesting videos recently, Caravan all the way lol. Yes I am keeping a close eye on the market and will try to keep an update video every month. 👍
Very good Mark adding extra security is good as vans are going up in price but also owners should or may need to increase there insurance value to keep up with van prices.
Hi Mark, are you still planning on doing a video on extra security? There doesn't seem to be much on UA-cam as a whole of what people are using (outside of the standard wheel and hitch lock). We're in the process of upgrading from single axle to twin axle and want to ensure it's as secure as can be...
Nice one Mark, selling after 4 months 🤷♂️ makes you wonder, they probably waited nearly a year for it, waiting for my elddis 554 hopefully not to long 🤞
Hi Mark great vlogs just think of get newer caravan but only have 1100 max towing weight on my car is there any think around this max two weight for a two birth thank you in advance
Its all down to condition on the age, you can have a damp one worth £1000 and a mint fully serviced that would possibly retail at 6-7k, so all down to condition.
Swift S4SB makes you realise some people got more money than sense. Taken me a while to get a new van not selling for at least the next 10 years. Thanks mark . Good vlog
Iv always said, you can't do anymore or less in a 20 year old caravan as you can in a new one, its nice not to have to worry about spilling a drink or catching the side, I think you worry more the newer the caravan you have, so new isnt always best 👍
Collect our brand new Super 4SB this Tuesday. We go all over the country to dog agility shows so will be used throughout the year. See comments about people having more money than sense, well, we have lots of it so will do what we want with it, green eyed monster eh…..
Hi Mark. Thinking of selling our Swift Challenger Sport 442 2013. Could you tell me the top book price or what you would sell it for please. We can't part exchange as we already have anew caravan. Thank you
An Airtag would have been a less expensive option if it didn’t have to notify the thieves that they are being tracked. With that being the case, I would not recommend the use of Airtags as reliable trackers, unless Apple can get rid of this feature from their Airtags. Please do your own research into this.
Yes sometimes the simple ideas are the best, I'm not fully up on how the Bluetooth signal works, as in if it was taken to a remote area? But something like this is a good idea.
@@thecaravanplace The signal is silent; you can see the location of all your vehicles as icons on one screen, in any signal area. As far as I'm aware, its only by pressing a 'find my..' or 'play sound' button that it would alert anyone without the master phone.

I have a custom wheel chock lock. Has a hidden key hole and a fake one visible. If you stick something like a pick in the fake one a charge goes off with a small shotgun shell in the face of the thief.

Yes great point as trying to replace at the moment it could mean a big shortfall in prices.
Some great vans there Mark!
Thanks Darren

We don't unfortunately.
Hide an Airtag in a discreet place. Only £20. I can see where all my cars are.
