Never saw shagging like this before -- very creative and different. Shagging began in the Carolinas (we in NC say it began here. *g*) -- it's smooth, smooth nothing but footwork and so fun to watch. Must be wonderful to be able to dance like this couple and others.

All of these dances moved when the movement of following generations headed north. Shagging is a reformed or Europeanized version of the original Versions of hand dancing in the Southern States.
