I agree with the material you loved on cutter quilt...it would look great on the wuilt you have on walls with vintage pieces...background had star design
Good morning Bec, one of your videos came up in my UA-cam feed a few days ago and now I am a new subscriber. I have handstitched for over 50 years and have always stitched for others. I know suffer from chronic back issues which find me stitching most of the time in bed. I now stitch for the pure love of stitch and have started to stitch things for me. The style of your needle books is the type of handstitching I like to do with lots and lots of encrusted embroidery throughout the pages. I live in Canada and vintage pieces are extremely rare where I live. I have watched one of your videos and really enjoy them. I love seeing your completed handstitched pieces to give me ideas on what I would like to do with the few pieces I have. Thank you so much for doing these videos. I really appreciate it.💕🪡🧵🎉🇨🇦
Family care is always challenging for anyone who loves. It is obvious the stress levels increase as the health declines and/or personalities clash. Feel free to be yourself. Journaling helped me with caring for both parents when they were failing in health. It seemed to go on forever. Be kind to yourself and do not feel guilty about what you can give. Good luck! God bless you in your journey with raising a family with patience and perseverance. Crafting is one’s saving grace. Your work and advice are beautiful.💕
If it doesn’t rain, it pours… I always keep telling myself this to shall pass..and hope it passes fast… take care of you….the needle book is cute and I do love that quilt on the wall…working on something that brings great joy is a must….tfs…🙌

Dear Bec. This is the first video of yours that I have watched. I can relate to being so far from family. It is very hard. Your shop is just gorgeous, and I wish I had one like that here. Your quilt on the back wall is beautiful, be very proud of it, and all that you do. Sending big hugs from Ocean Grove, Victoria. ❤
Most of us can relate. Life has a lot of obstacles and we juggle a lot of issues and people in our lives. You are beautiful and kind and your shop and fabric choices are to die for. You are very talented designing and picking out beautiful fabrics. Take care, be good to yourself. One day at a time, all the cleches you hear. Praying for wisdom and peace of mind for you and me.
Do not apologize for opening up to us, we all will be wishing that we could help you in some way. And when you are feeling this low Bec, there is only one other direction that you can go and that’s up! I just hope that it is really soon!! Meanwhile, I love the cover fabric on your new needle book, it is gorgeous! And that quilt is stunning! I’m anxious to see how long that it takes you to kantha stitch it! LOL!
Thank you for sharing especially for those who also feel a little overwhelmed right now. We can relate. We can support one another. Love the desk box - French Provincial or otherwise - it's super cute and looks like it belongs. LOVE the quilt you're planning to kantha stitch. OMG - what lovely treasures it holds. Like an I Spy full of beautiful history. Imagine all the individual hands that went into the making of the pieces before it all got to your beautiful hands. You are such an inspiration and treasure. So glad to have found your channel and can 'visit' your shop even though I'm a world away in the States. Hugs to you as you deal with life's overwhelm.
My mum always said that God gave strong women more to do. And that's what's happening now. I'm originally from Newcastle and in my 30s moved to Melbourne so I can relate to the long distance away from loved ones. One day at a time..
Oh sweetie thankyou for sharing your raw self I am sure many Mums are having first day back to school blues hopefully day 2 will be better. You are doing so much and we love your vibrant brilliant videos. take some time for you, a nice massage maybe, many hugs 💕💕

We all have those days, every one of us. Hang in there, you'll make it through. I absolutely love your little needle books. I'm combining your approach to a needle book with the concept of a huswif at the moment. I'm curious about the size of your books though. They look small but maybe that's just the camera's perspective.

Every strength to you and yours, just keep doing what you need to do to look after you. Love the desk and also the iced vovos (which autocorrect wanted to change to iced volvos 😆) love your piece on your design wall. Do you source all your feed sack quilts from overseas or any good Australian collectors/suppliers? Cheers, Christine
Vintage ‘sewing’ stuff is expensive here too in England. EBay and charity shops have become more expensive. I find the occasional bargain. 350 skeins of anchor stranded embroidery thread in vintage boxes, assorted colours for 8pence each including postage. The lot also included 30 skeins of soft embroidery cotton by anchor.
Are you going to sell the pink needlebook that you removed from Huswif?❤ I would be interested to purchase.❤ I just saw where you are going to have kits with the pink floral fabric.. please remember me for purchasing one.❤❤❤❤❤❤
The linen backing would be fabulous in either natural or pink. The quilt on the wall with vintage collection is stunningly beautiful ❤
I wish you a day filled with love and peace...and all the simple little pleasures that bring you a smile❤
I agree with the material you loved on cutter quilt...it would look great on the wuilt you have on walls with vintage pieces...background had star design
You are not alone, Bec..a big hug to you ❤❤❤
