- Building the pivot point. mounting the jack, a paint tough up, I think this end is really! I was able to keep the distance in the pivot point the same as the plan.

Man alive that looks great! Thank you for taking all the extra time to record and edit this for our education. ~ Chuck
Thank you Chuck, I appreciate everyone that takes the time out of their day to watch my channel! 😊
Wow!! It looks great. You had to have put a lot of time in the planning stage of this project. It really has paid off. Great job Alvin!
Thank you Matt, I am pleased with it so far. It went smoother once I figured out what was going on with the welder.
Hello Alvin. I hope it works as well as it looks!
You have done a real great job on this fabrication. I also like how you utilized the aluminum paint. Looks fancy.

Thank you George,
It does add a nice look...lets hope the paint isn't the only thing holding it together! lol
Alvin,
What a project, my friend. It's looking great. You know...when you're done using it the US Army will surely buy it for use with their M1 Abrams tanks. 😂
Regards,
John
Thank you John,
It is coming along nicely, and should hold up to anything I put on it. Like I commented to George...lets hope the paint isn't the only thing holding it all together!
That looks real good. If it works half as good as it looks it will be perfect.
I guess you have no Home depot around as they sell nuts by the piece. Our local Princess Auto no longer sell this stuff what a shame.
I am looking forward to seeing the Thunder Bird on that rotisserie.
Thank you Doug,
The nearest Home Depot is about a half hour from here, our closest CTC is closer, and I'll be there today, and I know they have them. But I was surprised that our local Hardware store was all out...I asked if they were had more in stock, the answer was no, and didn't know when they would be getting more in. 🤔
The only thing I would question is maybe spin the bracket 180 degrees, before attaching to the vehicle. So that the weight of the vehicle is going down into the outer tube instead of trying to lock it in place with the 4 bolts to keep it from sliding out of the outer bracket.. Hopefully you understand what I'm trying to explain. I could send some pics of mine if I knew how and where to send them. Those bolts will probably clamp that in place but I would be a little nervous with all of the weight of the big Bird. Other than that it looks very heavy duty and up to the job. I like it
Hey coolio1949,
I understand, and completely agree...an extra layer of protection is always a good idea. I was looking at the setup this morning, I am pretty sure I will have to mount the car higher than the bumper bolt holes to get the center of gravity set, and to do that I will need to flip the hanger brackets over, so that will make them a lot closer to the center up right tube. If it slips, then it will only be minimal.
Thank you for that suggestion! 😊
Well if you don’t mount the T-bird to it right away, you can always use it for when ever you have grand kids, and rock them to sleep while your in the garage lol it move real smooth!
Lol...now that you mentioned rocking babies, I could join them together, mount a bench, and use it as deck furniture.
