In Brazil we love making our cosmetics, you can find thousands of videos teaching masks for hair, shampoos, face creams ... If you want to preserve the face mask we recommend to use phenoxyethanol-SA at about 1%

It is worrisome to me that this recipe does not have a preservative in it. Yes I know that the dead sea mud has its own preservative but can all the other ingredients like the coconut water be preserved by the preservative in the dead sea mud? I have been told that dead sea mud generally oozes out water.. how do you manage the water secretion from the mask. Because during packaging the mask is fine . But when it reaches the end customer, it becomes watery.

I going to use bentonite clay instead of kaolin clay and powdered dead sea mud. Is it still the same amount of the clay and mud when I used it in powdered forms ?

Thank you for your inquiry. The clays can be switched, the Dead Sea mud is a paste in our formation, if you are using a powder you will need to add more water. You will need to micro test every batch, if the preservative choice and usage concentration is working well with the formulation.

We haven't tested this kit using fullers earth or bentonite. So, we can't tell you whether it works well or not.
mam if i use methyl and propyl parben preservative in creams and lotion how much quantity i use of preservative please tell me.
Parabens are usually added at a concentration of 0.3 - 1%

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. The Dead Sea Mud has a higher pH, therefore less prone for antimicrobial growth. Coconut water and aloe vera are preserved.

Without preservative it should be good for 2-4 weeks.

You can use distilled water.

Hello, thank you for your comment. Clay masks in general are used more for normal to oily skin.

Shelf life is 12 months. Stored at room temperature.

There is never a guarantee on how long the shelf life of product will be. It may 2 months or longer, or shorter.

Hi there, if the product is used up quickly after making, it doesn't need a preservative. However, if additional ingredients are added, therefore diluting it, then we would suggest adding a preservative.
