Douglas Jay Falcon's Classic Mode route will have him fighting against characters that specializes in close and short range attacks. Also so far, this run was probably the most amusing I've done so far due to the CPUs actually SDing themselves and getting a Footstool KO.

Funny how normal Bowser was defeated by a simple jump on the head when trying to recover to the stage, instead of taking massive damage.

Beats me, they could have also used Incineroar who also mostly uses close range. Sonic might not have been used because he can use his moves from a distance. Still, Sonic could have been a perfect choice
