    The orchestration. Such a gentle embracing awareness to it. Like someone listening to you, rather than you to it. Touching.

    I’ve recently completed three beautiful days of masterclass with Barbara. She more than deserves every recognition and accolades she gets today. She is the only one today giving so much energy time programs and money to emerging young singers such as I . Her generosity is unmatched in the business and I treasure everything I ve learned so far with Barbara.

    A calming soothing dissonance that is disturbing at the same time. A very atmospheric piece of music as a special treat for the left brain.

    Quelle douceur, quel charme dans cette composition. Parfaitement chantée ou plutôt murmurée.

    Watching this for the bazillianth time. My 2yo loves the paper on the drum. Atmospheric. Ethereal. Creepy microtones.
    The big suspended chord before the end is soooo satifying.

    She is an extraordinary artist, her talents have no limits, Barbara Hannigan was given by God more than anyone deserves to receive. Her divine looks, her unlimited voice, high intelligence and acting abilities. Understanding of characters and situations she portraits, an artist can ask for no more.

    Hey Barbara, tu me chamboules tout, je suis heureux, je suis amoureux, je pleure, admiratif, en recueillement devant la beauté ineffable de ton chant et de ta personne, excuses-moi pour l'usage de la deuxième personne du singulier, mais je suis trop touché par ta voix cri, et je te sent si proche, comme si ton chant venait du plus profond de mon être le plus intime, là au centre, au cœur.
    Merci d'être un support tangible de la sincérité, de la compassion et de la grandeur d'âme.
    Merci, merci.

    • @sasperanto
      @sasperanto 5 років тому +6

      @@Ennah08 Ophelia drowned by her own hand.
      If effect, this is The water in which Ophelia drowned herself turned to ice... time has turned her suicide into a strange mirror of herself. Let Me Tell you is of course consisting of onsly the words Shakespeare gave Opelia.... and in this piece, the composer has set only those words to music...
      I especially love the end: The voice (music) becomes almost a loving knife stabbing into the heart of the listening; ever so gently, ever so slight, yet unrelenting. It's like being stabbed to death slowly and lovingly....
