thank you for posting new ways to use old denim. The damage denim does to the environment is insane, I had no idea! Jeans usually chafe and cut into my legs, so I stopped wearing them, but I like to make little crafts and purses from the fabric. This is giving me good ideas!

I really like the idea of the oversize paper bag waist, with contrasting denim. I am really thinking about making my oversize sweat pant shorts using the grommets for a paper bag waist look. In the 70s, I was a young teenager. I made my bell bottoms so big that they swung around and were a serious tripping hazard. The triangle was on the outside. Don't do what I did. Platform clogs made me an accident waiting to happen. And sprained ankles!

I've lost about 70lbs and my favorite pair of jeans are too big.. they're black with Jack Skellington's face printed all over them and need ideas on what to do with them! Maybe a jumper or dress??

the curtain rings are basically big grommets so they’re sturdy enough to stay on in the wash.
