Hiking Tugela Gorge, Royal Natal National Park

These spontaneous trips are really becoming a thing of passion! Just making a decision, a destination and very little planning, a place without vision and appreciating whats right in-front of you.
Tugela Gorge which is situated in the Royal Natal National Park boasts so much variety and scenery, you almost don't know where to look. The multitude of hikes which are over looked by The Amphitheatre are endless and quite monumental.
We set out from Durban, had lunch at Tower of Pizza, which might I add was mouth watering, booked in at Ledges retreat, an epic spot with a very homely feel to it and the next morning set out on a 4 hour hike which turned into 8hour+ haha
I don't think anyone can describe the Drakensberg, its just something you need to experience!
Im not going to lie it was an intense hike but our determination is fuelled by passion, so for us it's always good vibes and we let nature do the rest!
