NLP Alum Podcast Episode 4: Carolyn and Maria

The concept of whiteness strips you of your culture and disconnects you from your body and separates you from people. In this episode Maria and Carolyn, discuss the ways that they take up space, and how they aim for movement outside of the context of private ownership. They reflect on the privileges they were born into as white women and how it plays a part in the community work they are a part of.

Carolyn is learning to not cling to identities and live into the constant change of life
Maria identifies as a queer white cis woman with class privilege. She orients herself toward liberation and community, which often means reflecting on and growing through individualistic ways of thinking and being.
Two people learning to get out of their thinking brains and into their feeling bodies, who work in communities where their power and privilege can either cause destruction or be a building block to restoring balance
