Even though I lost my BELOVED Airedale, Maxi 25 yr's ago, I will NEVER stop missing that sweet little face that always seemed to be *smiling*...He was such a LOVING & LOYAL friend who adored boat rides...He even had his own life jacket...I've NEVER met a dog I couldn't Love, but Airedales are extra special to me...
I have an Airedale as well. His name is Tucker. The 'T' is interchangeable with 'F' on occasion. Love him to pierces.
tener en airdale terrier terrier es lo mejor amo mi perrita LUNA es increible me encanta como es amorosa, muy observadorada, glotona , pero muy independiente
I had. Well “had” is the wrong word. Never felt we owned him. Scruffy “lived” with us for about 14 years. What a character!! Even 10 years after he died the neighbors would tell Scruffy stories. It was always with a laugh and shake of the head. Several years after he was gone, I saw a lady who owned a large sporting goods store downtown. She knew him because Scruffy would sometimes go visit during one of his many escapades. After a few minutes, she asked if I would like some pictures of him that she took on one of his visits. I still have them. He was unique.
My Stellabella passed away last June and I still get weepie as I miss her so much. She was an adventure and we were a team. She made me laugh and cry and get into the most wonderful fun. I could take her anywhere except on hikes or just long walks. If she wandered too far and I called to her, her tail would fly higher as if she was flipping me off and it was only when I shouted "damn-it Stella" then she would reluctantly come back to me. She loved music and singing and company, so much sharing to be done. I could go on forever here so thank you for encouraging me to share. I love everyone's posts.
my favourite Airedale "Kelly" used to cadge outside the local patisserie - it was a joy to see his poor owner trying to get him away and into the car "Kelly !" clap clap clap "Kelly" clap clap clap - no dice. Airedales are the greatest.
I have had Aiedales for the last 30 years. Great breed. Very loyal, protective and goofy. They need excercise every day, helps keep you young. I live in Minnesota,so you need lots of warm clothing to walk in below zero. Pup loves it.
Such a beautiful breed.
We have two airedales... Our sixth and seventh in a long line of mostly rescue dales.... Ours have all liked the ear rub... And give out a long loud and protracted groan. Airedales are totally brilliant dogs.
King of Terriers! The Airedale! Love Airedales
the thing I love about Airedales is their logicYou throw a stick and say fetch and they grab it and bring it back onceyou throw again and it basically says you go get it, I just got it
Enjoyed your video, Bruce is a handsome boy,. My Airedale Belle is 7yrs old and she acts like a puppy all the time, very playful. Thank you.
Love the Airedales and their look alike cousins the Welsh Terriers. I grew up with one sweet mixed breed named Lady. After that there were several generations of Cairnes that passed through my parents home. We had a fantastic parakeet named Pierre along the way. Loved all of our animals so much. Particularly fond of terriers but they are all good aren't they?
Ladies, a handsome male Airedale with not only love you and be your best buddy, but he will protect you like no other dog. Often, he will follow you from room to room as your companion and protector even when there is no danger. He is easily made sociable to friends if you introduce him to them, but he will sense when there is a stranger at the door who does not have the right intentions. He can back up his' bark 100%
Bruce is awesome...Airedales rock...jack of all trades...and a good personality to boot
omg that ear rub groan!!! cuuuutteeee!!!!
I can't wait, I'm getting an Airedale in a couple weeks, and your video has provided a necessary stopgap until then. Thank you!
+Conner B Ah you're in for an adventure! They are amazing dogs.
Can we get an update on Bruce please! I got an Airedale 9 months ago and this video was a major piece of research in getting her :)
He is super cute! There is one in our neighbourhood that Rocky lives playing with.
Just like your Bruce, my airedale, Buster, is so naughty, playful, and full of energy. He is such a clown. I enjoyed watching your clip.
+Neil Ongoco I'm glad you like it! They sure are characters..!
The best all 'round breed!
My Airedale is fantastic Teddy is just one year old and can be a handful at times but love him to bits
Thinking of getting another Airedale. I'm not anthropomorphically minded, but I'm debating weather I've still got the patience for a dog with a sense of humor that can do everything then not ???????
Yeah I'm not surprised he's so antsy when you see those danglers at 5:41. I always had my Airedales fixed, even the males.
is he hypoallergenic because my family is allergic but they really want a dog?
One interesting fact, which this very sweet young lady forgot to mention is this: If a male Airedale is treated with the kind of affection and love which she gives, that dog will continuously be at her side. If she gets up to go to another room, the Airedale will get up and follow her, like Caesar's Praetorian guard. Now, when my daughter was dating, and a boy friend or two would come over, and sit near her on the sofa, this is what happened more then once. The Airedale would sit about 2 feet in front of the couch, watching them. My daughter would get annoyed and tell the dog to go into another room. He would do as she commanded, then come back into the room, by another door, within 30 seconds, and resume his seat, and continue to watch them. Once, when her boyfriend reached over to hold her hand-that Airedale, in the blink of an eye, lunged on top of the boy, and had his jaws around the boys throat. Those Airedales are pretty smart. He knew not to hurt the boy, as my daughter was friendly with him, but, he let the poor terrified young man know who was the Alpha Male. My daughter told the dog to cut it out and leave the room, which he did, but not for long.
empirical43 is this actually true? Lol if so its kind of awesome
nima Aminian Yes it is.
Airedales are the greatest
empirical43 terriers are the best basically love walkies for hours ear rubs kisses cuddles and tons and tons of love from everybody they know as family.
yup sounds about right, phew I'm wondering if a bitch would be much easier and have a little less sense of humor. Should I get another ?????? are they too clever for me ???/
The best snoots in the whole world!!!
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmkay
My airedale does the same exact thing with the ear rub and the groan lol

Had 3 female Airedales one after the other. Penny, jenny and penny 2. They are so rare now. They are very inteligent . Love attention.
