- Let's drive downtown Portland and enjoy the colored leaves together.
The Rose City. the City of Roses. Eye of the Pacific Northwest and the Willamette Rivers favorite port. It was true. It might still be. The answer is hidden under the last 2 years of decay and sludge. But it's there. If you stand looking west you can catch a postcard glimpse of the Cascade Range and the beloved Mt. Hood. Probably Forest Park is the most iconic place to find this vantage, but again, you'll have to navigate the sludge.
Take a bus or a bike and you can cover the entirety of the city in a day or two. On the west side, you'll be recommended Voodoo Doughnuts or Powell's Books. Both of which are a fun tourist attraction. Being a tourist is awesome by the way. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. These people bring fun, excitement, money and curiosity into you town briefly and leave as silently as they came it. Looking for east Portland recommendations? Watch Portlandia. It's cringingly accurate. Stumptown and the Food Carts can show you the ground level culture of Portland, and you should go. Trust a native.
The beautiful city of bridges in the Pacific Northwest. And we were blessed with some fall leaves still lingering. The famous PORTLAND neon sign sits on the west side of the Burnside Bridge. This is where we started today. No neon yet, this drive was midday. Today's drive stayed north of Burnside and east of 15th. This area includes Chinatown, Pacific Union Station, Old Town and The Pearl District. Enjoy the drive my friends and thanks for joining me.

Lovely video of my home.
My home too. Thanks for watching neighbor.
It looks like they've really cleaned the place up!
Portland got a bad rap. It never got as bad as people say.
Nice vidéo 👍
Thank you my friend.
3:11 I've stayed at The Hoxton. Great hotel
Hello again. The Hoxton is cool. Try Dossier or The Nines next time you’re in town.
