மத்திய பட்ஜெட் காங்கிரஸ் தேர்தல் அறிக்கையின் காப்பி என விமர்சித்த காங்கிரஸ் எம்.பி. ப.சிதம்பரம், விலைவாசி உயர்வுக்கு அரசுக்கு எச்சரிக்கையை விடுத்தார்.
மாநிலங்களவையில் பட்ஜெட் மீதான விவாதத்தில் பேசிய ப.சிதம்பரம், காங்கிரஸ் தேர்தல் வாக்குறுதிகளை நிதியமைச்சர் பட்ஜெட்டில் அறிவித்து இருப்பது மகிழ்ச்சி... பிற நலத்திட்டங்களையும் நிறைவேற்ற முன்வந்தாலும் மேலும் மகிழ்ச்சி என்றார். காப்பி அடிப்பது ஒன்றும் தடை செய்யப்பட்டது அல்ல, ஊக்குவிக்கக்கூடியது என நகைத்தார்.
நாட்டில் வேலையில்லா திண்டாட்டம் பெரிய சவாலாக இருப்பதாக குறிபிட்ட சிதம்பரம், 1 கோடி இளைஞர்களுக்கு மாதம் 5 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய் ஊக்கத்தொகையோடு தொழில் பயிற்சி என நிர்மலா சீதாராமன் அறிவித்து இருக்கிறார், அது ஆண்டுக்கு 2 கோடி இளைஞர்களுக்கு வேலைவாய்ப்பு என்ற பொய் வாக்குறுதிபோலாகிவிடக்கூடாது என விமர்சித்தார்.
மத்திய அரசு விலைவாசி உயர்வை மிக தீவிரமாக எடுக்க வேண்டும் என எச்சரித்தவர், 13 தொகுதி இடைத்தேர்தலில் தோற்றது போல் ஆளும் கட்சி தண்டிக்கப்படும் என்றார். பீகார், ஆந்திராவுக்கு உதவியதில் பொறாமையில்லை, ஆனால் கூட்டாச்சி தத்துவம் கொண்ட நாட்டில் மற்ற மாநிலங்கள் நிலை என்ன...? என கேள்வியை எழுப்பினார். அனைத்து மாநிலங்களுக்கு மையமான மத்திய அரசு ஒரு மாநிலத்திற்கு வெண்ணையும் ஒரு மாநிலத்திற்கு சுண்ணாம்பையும் வைக்க முடியாது என விமர்சித்தார்.

Useless debate. He was the FM. He talks as if the other MPs who have little knowledge on budget. Even in TN, see the disparity Chennai has more fund allocation but where your area Sivagangai, Pudukkottai’, Thirumayam are not given importance. They are also people, have life. See the status of a corporation like Chennai and your areas. Karaikudi had poor roads for a long time. Power(electricity)is poor in your area. You never voiced against that. But Karthik started voicing against such things of late. You have in touch with all business people and you could bring a school of management to your area . Most of the students there fail in maths and English there. You could prompt the state to have special coaching to the poor mass. The quality of education is poor . Take it to the next level. You have lots of ups and downs. Have Negative and positive side. Change your mindset and come forward to serve the public in real sense.
Even if we take your word for argument Chennai and Coimbatore regions are revenue generating region.. and these regions get bigger fund allocation.. what is the contribution of Bihar to GDP, what is TN's contribution.. why fund allocation not as per that..
