Plain and simple: What happens when you bring a kid into a candy store (a poor kid). Anthony Joshua is lucky his opponent, Andy Ruiz, was a short, fat, boxer with short arms. If Andy was chiseled and as tall as Joshua (wouldn't need those extra-long arms) Andy Ruiz would destroy Anthony Joshua. Joshua did not knock Andy out, did not took his willpower nor Andy's big heart. If Cain Velasquez was a ring boxer and his challenger was Anthony Joshua, Velazquez would tear Joshua apart. It's just a matter of time when Mexican American/Mexican boxers will dominate the heavyweight fights, and once they (we) get there, They Will Stay There.
According to his father, he gained all of hos weight plus 15 pounds a month before the fight. Probably just partied whole month eating trays of tacos and burritos.
Dont say fight. AJ avoided fighting at all costs. He ran and jabbed his way to a points victory. Fighting = one man down, one man standing. Clear victory. Boxing = judges and points. Boring sport. Mayweather shit.
This guys "humble" persona seems a total sham. Blatant disregard for trainers and camp, and underestimating AJs boxing ability and will to win. He got what he deserved and got served up.

I agree 100, alot of people are just there for the big fight and really dont know shit
We love u bro
"I should have trained and listened to my team I came in too heavy." My man partied all the time, ate whatever he wanted and still earned £10 million.
Taxes and paying his trainers. That’s short money. He needs more big paydays. Hopefully he can bounce back.
He got rich & said im gone enjoy it
Nice pay day for sure but just imagine if he won this fight that 10 million would of been penny’s and he would of been the new face of the division
It’s not just about the money,
I'm glad AJ, Mayweather, Conelo and Lomochenko etc dont have that same mind set the difference between good and great competitors
Damn people switch up FAST!!!! Lmao
Faster than a ESPN analyst
Mario Garcia so true
Its because he showed his true colors... you’d be a fool to continue to support someone that showed you they aren’t who you thought they were after all
This pissed me off. Hes saying that the 3 months celebrating he had off was the reason for not being ready. But when AJ was training consistently. Hungry and determined. You lost because AJ wanted it, you lost because AJ boxed like a champ. AJ had NO excuses for his loss and took in on the chin whatever the critics came up with. But this guy got completely outboxed for 11 of of the 12 rounds and proceeds to feed the media this shite. AJ deserves the utmost respect for proving to himself and everyone else that he could do it. He at least has my respect.
Well said. Basically the difference between them. I'm hoping that wilder and fury will put their hands up and show AJ a bit more respect that drop the pretense.
U talking as if AJ knocked him out
I agree with most of that but come on AJ. Did nothing but make excuses, saying he got lucky, landed lucky shots, etc etc, I thought he was very disrespectful to Ruiz after the fight, not in the ring but in the following weeks after it.
Old timer that was to get in his head
Andy is a nobody he had the element of surprise in the first fight and he got taught a lesson in the second fight i wouldn't be surprised if he never fights for a world title again because of his attitude and lack of commitment when he was the champion
Love your honesty. No excuses
Well, at least he’s got the money
Yup, he secured the bag
Jimmy Fuentes that’s the problem jimmy as us a fan we should be more disappointed and honest. He should of been in the gym five days a week and wait to enjoy him self after rematch. Sad day for Andy fans like my self. Cause he is a great heavy weight he went twelve tonight. And hurt aj but couldn’t finish. He shouldn’t be looked down on he still bad ass. But it’s starts after his rest.
Miguel Valdez it was definitely disappointing.
Miguel Valdez but also since he went the full length of the fight we know that if he had trained harder and longer he could’ve had a different fight today
No doubt but dude how can you as a Mexican in the first fight is a reminder, hey he said not us . He said from now on no more struggles, he’s a grown man and young why waste time partying when you won the first heavy Mexican of the world.. Andy messed up big time but money and fame will do it to people like Andy that never had that. You know? I’m still a fan of Andy but he has the skills to be and stay a champ. I’m pissed as a fan. But we are fans. He started to late training he don’t have a mouse in his pocket.many needs to stay in his asss. Now that he’s got money stay humble but big picture!!!!! Damit we are pissed.
Poor Andy sounds like he's in front of the parole board.
Dude went on a shopping spree and kicking back instead of training hard..Ruiz thought it was going to go down like the first fight
Looolll😂😂😂😭😭
@@sevnlight6313 then he must be daft to think AJ will give him his face to punch again
Andy: I ate his punches
You sure did😂
🤣ate them with snickers🤣
Seemed a lil too tasty tbh
Not really only two or 3 the rest was running and running and hugs
I think he eat more hugs then punches josh is a good huger not boxer tho 😂🤣
Ate more than them Punch's
“There was a lot of things on my plate.”
We believe you Andy, your physical showed us.
