By this point, i think she should actually go ahead and start playing the games, especially the ones whose soundtracks she's already fully reacted to so to avoid spoilers for future reaction videos.
Question for Zor's community ~ thinking ahead to future games & how it would be nice for those of us who send suggestions to be more on the same page: When we eventually get to Sonic Colors, what do we think would be the best way to go about the order of things? We know she likes to be thorough & hear /every/ version of a given song, so I'd say it would be best to inculde all versions - Wii, DS, & Ultimate. (that'll lead to some /really/ long vids, huh..?) But my question to you all is, what would be the best order to send songs to her in? Using Tropical Resort as an example, should we do all acts from Wii, then all acts from DS, then from Ultimate? Example: Wii Act 1 > Wii Act 2 > Wii Act 3, DS Act 1 > DS Act 2 > DS Act 3(/Mission), Ult. Act 1 > Ult. Act 2 > Ult. Act 3. Or should it be act by act, comparing each act between versions? Example: Wii Act 1 > DS Act 1 > Ult. Act 1, Wii Act 2 > DS Act 2 > Ult. Act 2, WII Act 3 > DS Act 3(/Mission) > Ult. Act 3. (I'm thinking the second way, personally) & then there's the Game Land versions to be tacked onto the end too, plus any additional remixes (ie Gens) ~ & should we /also/ include the map themes too?? That might make these reaction vids SUPER long, so maybe all the map themes could be in their own seperate video..? Thoughts?
@@ZachGrahamVGPiano I'm just excited for the boss themes of that game, which will also be a long video because of the 3 boss theme and their DS versions the Final boss phase 1&2 and their DS versions and Nega Mother Wisp
me personally I'd go with Wii Act 1, all remixes of Wii Act 1, Wii act 2, all remixes of Wii Act 2, Wii act 3, all remixes of Wii Act 3, Wii Area Theme, all remixes of Wii Area Theme And then repeat that for DS and then Ultimate
A bit of context for the Tornado Defense thing. The Tornado is the name of a red and yellow plane that Sonic and Tails fly in. The first Tornado was a regular bi-plane that Sonic owned. He eventually gave it to Tails when they became friends long ago. Since then, Tails has made better versions of it with a battle mode transformation and more weapons. The "Defense" title comes from having to defend yourself from a fleet of enemy aircrafts and missile attacks from Eggman's mechs in both Stages so you can get to your destination.
Actually, the first Tornado, never really stopped being Sonic's, they still call "Sonic's plane", but Tails is the one that uses it the most, he basically unofficially owns it at this point As for the plane seen in Sonic Unleashed (and Generations) that actually ISN'T the original Tornado, although the english version mistranslated it to "Tornado-1", probably to make a callback to the original Tornado, since the one from Sonic Adventure is called "Tornado 2", but actually, in the original japanese version it is only called by "Tornado", and there's a reason for it, because on the tail of the Tornado seen in Sonic Unleashed and Generations, the plane is labled as "Tornado 03" So that Tornado in that game isn't the original one, but rather a sequel to the Tornado seen in Sonic Adventure, even having the same modes, the regular bi-plane mode and the mode where it's wings make an "X", but keeping the red coloring from the first one rather than the blue from Tornado 2, the original one still is the simple, plain, bi-plane, with no upgrades or extra modes that Sonic owns
@@ThisisTheUltimate The original Tornado _also_ appears in Sonic Adventure; it gets shot down during Sky Chase Act 1, which is why Tails builds the Tornado 2 in the first place. It's even seen in Tails' post-credits image, where he's fixed it up.
"The World Adventure" is a great name for the main theme, not only because the game has Sonic travelling all over the globe, but also the other name for Sonic Unleashed is Sonic World Adventure. The Werehog Battle Theme is great, the only problem is that it interrupts the stage theme every 30 seconds (an exaggeration, but it still feels like it), so a lot of people have come to hate it. The two boss battle themes and VS Egg Dragoon are interestingly connected: In Day boss battles, as normal Sonic, you're fighting Dr. Eggman in a mech while you're running around a looping track. In Night boss battles, as Werehog Sonic, you fight against creatures spawned by Dark Gaia in an enclosed arena. Two different concepts and it reflects in the music. However, the Egg Dragoon battle has you fighting Eggman as Werehog Sonic (the only time in-game it happens) on a chunk of rock as you're falling into the core of the planet, so the music has qualities from both the Day & Night boss themes. The Generations version of Egg Dragoon though plays more like the Day boss battles, running laps and ending the boss with a skydiving section, so the instruments are different to better suit normal Sonic. Titan and Big Mother serve as mid-bosses in Night stages. In the Wii/PS2 version, the creepy string part before the drums come in plays as the creature is spawning in from a portal in the ground. The Tornado Defense sequences, like the day & night stages in Savannah Citadel and the entirety of Empire City, are in only the 360/PS3 versions of Unleashed. The first plays as Sonic and Tails head to Spagonia for the first time, and the second is for the approach to Eggmanland. The "Super Sonic vs. Perfect Dark Gaia" version of Endless Possibility is so good, perfect for a Super Sonic battle. It's just a shame (and this has nothing to do with music) that after Unleashed, fighting a final boss with Super Sonic as part of the main story kind of petered out. Unless you count Excalibur Sonic in Sonic and the Black Knight (which I don't), the next game where Super Sonic is mandatory for a final boss is Sonic Generations, but then after that? Sonic Frontiers. Any Sonic games between Unleashed and Frontiers that had Super Sonic, it was either optional or only unlocked a secret boss and/or a true ending. Hell, Super Sonic wasn't even in Sonic Forces until it was added as DLC. In the next Unleashed reaction, please tell me the Gaia Gate music and the piano arrangement of The World Adventure will be there.
For context: In the Egg Dragoon fight, Sonic is in his Werehog form fighting Dr. Eggman's finest creation while they are falling to the center of the Earth. The Egg Dragoon was made to be able to fight on par with Sonic in his normal form but since Sonic is in his Werehog form he manages to beat him quite easily.

So there actually quite a few differences in the Egg Dragoon themes. Like a lot of the brass that was in the original is gone from the Gens version, so it sounds quite empty due to having lost the heaviness of the brass. And that one violin part you said you didn’t recognize, wasnt in the original. And the gaps where there was just the beat, is where the heavy strings play in the original. Just thought I’d share.
