@@poolfansI disagree, there’s no need to even compete in the competition. None of them turned up except Endo, Kelleher and Nunez. The rest were outfought, outthought and outplayed. They were nothing short of disgraceful in their attitude and commitment. Firstly well done to Plymouth. Won the duels, took their chance and wanted it far more. Secondly, it saves the legs of the first team as we reach the back end of the season and the priority has to be PL and CL. EFL cup is a bonus but still a final and no team likes to lose those.

Can't wait to see if Rashford can do bits in this Villa team. If he gets his head sorted Villa can at least challenge for top 4 and some cup runs over the next few years.
yes which is a bit shameful considering many of the players who were on the pitch now won't start another game all season. couldn't be arsed to fight for their own gametime
All the people saying Liverpool didn't take it seriously with a front 3 of Jota, Diaz and Chiesa and a few internationals with massive experience, they will always use any excuse to S on LFC but they only ever S on themselves with such insane reasoning
And what's your reasoning for the rest of the team? That front 3 are bang average anyway. Jota and Chiesa play as often as Wilshere, and Diaz isn't consistent. He'll score 2 and Liverpool fans will think he's world class, then he'll disappear for 2 months.
They did NOT take it seriously.. BUT if Liverpool taking it seriously in your mind helps you sleep at night have at it .. McConnell.. nyoni.. mabawa.. sure!.. whenever Liverpool take opposition seriously they are definitely on the pitch 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
Thing is, Plymouth Argyle didn't actually beat Liverpool, did they? They beat a hybrid team because yet again LFC didn't take this cup seriously, and sacrificed it. Frustrating, the FA Cup used to be a great cup, now it's just lost its value. The big teams who are competing for stuff elsewhere literally don't bother about this cup.
You guys should do an extra 10 minute episode a week with your fantasy football picks, with a tiny explanation as to why... you give us a lot of content, but i cant actually get enough. Thank you again.
When you compare the squad costs/squad value of those that played...Liverpool really messed up. Even a second string is worth many times what Plymouth's team is. Slot and his team should be ashamed. We had to lose out on FA Cup Replays, only for Liverpool to still not take it seriously and rightly get knocked out.
We had a POOOR midfield. If you cant appreciate the value of a good midfield, it clearly shows your support Plymouth with their courageous long balls👀💀😂😂😂
So after seeing the team I thought Liverpool would get beaten by but not talking about the goal that definitely didn’t cross the line is very bad the lineman won it for Newcastle but in finals you have technology so Newcastle will do the norm
The saddest thing of all was watching yard dogs doing their damndest to get a kid, making his debut, booked. A young lad with more skill in his backpocket than the whole of their defense, too.
The F.A. Cup starts in January and the price for winning is £2 million pounds. Liverpool are already in a good lead in the league which if won could generate £100 million pounds. Champions league they have already made at least £83.8 million with potentially another £50 million to come if they were to win it. The Carabao cup is all but done except the final in March, you start earlier in the season and finish earlier. but still only get £100k for winning! Take nothing away from Plymouth they fought hard and defended well and deserved the win. They play the next league game trying to stay up and Liverpool play theirs to go 9 points clear at the top of the Premier League should they win. Its priorities, the FA Cup is another 4 games Liverpool don't have to play and get potential injury's and tire out players for what could be a lucrative gain as well as attract top players. Again, well done Plymouth, i do hope they have a good cup run and get some form off the back of this.
@@apb3440 Of course it is. How do you think players wages are paid World Class stadiums and training grounds built? Don't make out like this is new the Premier league is 33 years old its always been about money
@ You’re right but it’s getting worse, the septic 6 continue to try and get things passed to suit themselves. The European Super League fiasco, the attempted bribery to double their own votes so they could have more say than other PL clubs, the cancellation of replays etc. It’s all so the established elite can continue to remain there without any new challenges and keep their own revenue rolling in.
Re: Plymouth v Liverpool, the normally insightful Messrs Lineker & Richards did not mention in their analysis that while Slot *did* select a mostly non-first-team line up, he *had* relied on two seniors to add experience and quality both of whom didn't end up playing; Gomez [injured & off after 10minutes] and Jones who decided not to play at the 11th hour. Jota & Diaz *were* 1st teamers but had no service all game due [in large part] to no midfield [Jones]
I’m really not sure I agree with Alan about the youngsters at spurs shining more. He said during co-comms that Gray was the standout but that’s just objectively not true. Gray has had a really rough time at CB. Not saying it’s his fault, hes young and being played out of position - but let’s not pretend he’s been excellent over the past month or so!
Spurs fans will literally blame Peggy Mitchell before they blame Ange. The whole world is laughing at spurs refusing to sack the manager who’s lost 20 in 40. Tottenham Hotspur! Wtf
It was kids and reserves for Liverpool but we still should have had enough. Kelleher was the only one who wasn't poor. Am seeing our fans saying they aren't too bothered but this was surely the best chance we'll ever have to at least try to win the treble? Slot got it wrong.
No... It doesn't work like that. Plymouth looked like a well oiled engine and Liverpool looked like a training ground team. Respect and congrats to Plymouth. After the first half I said we would lose 0:1. It was like watching men against boys. And it actually was...
@MarekS-d2x Not sure what you're disagreeing with? I said we were poor, Plymouth deserved it, but Slot got it wrong. He clearly can't motivate the younger players like Klopp could.
Manager is not used to play for so many cups.. I think he wanna go full for the league cup and championship! Afraid to lose players.. otherwise he would start with more basics players to score quickly 2 goals, and then bring all the youngsters!!
I am sorry no defence for me top of the prem lost to bottom of the championship thats it they still played a decent team with luiz Dias , Elliot , Gomez so on yes come got injured but still ..... no defence for me.
Wow, the rest is football do a show about Liverpool, they normally only talk about united or arsenal. Oh we lost? Oh right that makes sense, yeah fair enough
The team Slot put out should’ve won that match but every player had a poor game. That being said, I’m not that mad about it; the prem is way more important and the champions league should be second priority. With less games to play now there should be no excuses to go on and win #20 🏆
Winning the FA Cup is worth less than an appearance in the Champions League but only gets you admission into the Europa League. It’s only worth the prestige to the richer clubs and that’s not enough.
In Liverpool's case it's just the lowest priority competition & they would have to manage the extra games & the players minutes. If they missed out on a major title because of an FA tie, it's just not worth the risk.

Fair play to Plymouth, played really well and deserved to go through. But lets be real, with his team selection, Slot threw that game because he wanted fewer games.
The Premier League is the priority. End of.
I swear MICHA is like the naughty kid in the back of the classroom...
I bet in his school days he spent most of his time, on detention, lmao...
Can't wait to see if Rashford can do bits in this Villa team. If he gets his head sorted Villa can at least challenge for top 4 and some cup runs over the next few years.
Lolol rashford
No mention of the 6 goal thriller at the bet 365 - try and mix it up abit
1:05 Micah with the excuses 😂😂😂
Chaoticness is a word 😀👍
Liverpool were so nonchalant. There was nothing about them at all. It had the energy of a pre season friendly.
yes which is a bit shameful considering many of the players who were on the pitch now won't start another game all season. couldn't be arsed to fight for their own gametime
23:13 catastrophic
All the people saying Liverpool didn't take it seriously with a front 3 of Jota, Diaz and Chiesa and a few internationals with massive experience, they will always use any excuse to S on LFC but they only ever S on themselves with such insane reasoning
And what's your reasoning for the rest of the team?
That front 3 are bang average anyway.
Jota and Chiesa play as often as Wilshere, and Diaz isn't consistent.
He'll score 2 and Liverpool fans will think he's world class, then he'll disappear for 2 months.
@Viewer41 the reasoning is that we don't care about the fa cup. Your team can go win it now so why you stressed? 😂
The same team against Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern Munich in the Champions League?
Case closed...
@@stdread lololol mommy I don't care anyway
Well done Micah, it is a word
Not chaoticness.... The word was chaos 😂
Keep up mate… it IS a word .. read the comments 🙄
everyone knows birmingham got robbed. the linesman and ref wanted newcastle to win. ruined the whole game as it was so good until the ref lost it.
You guys should do an extra 10 minute episode a week with your fantasy football picks, with a tiny explanation as to why... you give us a lot of content, but i cant actually get enough. Thank you again.
Ian my son get yourself a wife
What commitment doing the podcast straight after the game Al but I didn't enjoy looking up your nose for half an hour 🤣🤣🤣
Those 2 centre backs are what Argyle have been missing for at least 3 years, even Rooney could have used them
Liverpool fan, well done Plymouth suck in to the end, well deserved ❤
Chaoticness? Chaosness? How about chaoticity? Or chaotivity? But Micah might like city.
Micah talking about the banter he got. All main stream media presenters are now programmed to say 'abuse' first and 'normal people's comments' second.
Has Micah still got the hanger in the back of that shirt 😂😂😂😂
Surprised they never wound up Allan and said that neither of Newcastles goals should have counted 😂
Stunned is a bit of a stretch.
On form and league position does that make Forest faves for the FA cup?
Doesn't matter. Everton does. ❤
You’ve just explained the main problem with modern football, it’s no longer about winning trophies, it’s all about money.
So it's only about money, not glory and history? F o
I wonder what excuse you’ll come up with when you lose to Newcastle in March
Re: Plymouth v Liverpool, the normally insightful Messrs Lineker & Richards did not mention in their analysis that while Slot *did* select a mostly non-first-team line up, he *had* relied on two seniors to add experience and quality both of whom didn't end up playing; Gomez [injured & off after 10minutes] and Jones who decided not to play at the 11th hour. Jota & Diaz *were* 1st teamers but had no service all game due [in large part] to no midfield [Jones]
Excellent as always guys keep up the hard work! abit disappointed that Bournemouth's treble over Everton wasn't brought up though ;)
I wasn’t “STUNNED”
Shearer in his dungeon 😂😂
Chaoticness is a word btw!
Spurs needed a MINIMUM of 4 players in Jan after Dragusin injured. They got 2.
Penny pinching Levy should be abandonded by season ticket holders.
Spurs fans will literally blame Peggy Mitchell before they blame Ange.
The whole world is laughing at spurs refusing to sack the manager who’s lost 20 in 40.
Tottenham Hotspur! Wtf
Ignoring forest yet again it’s actually laughable how consistent they are with it . 3 of the top four out but we’ll ignore the one left ffs
Those boots though.
Sank by The Mighty Pilgrims,Slot overdone it with team selection, must be worried about Everton on Wednesday
Its a good thing imo.
Lets get that league won and next season we can consider other things.
The title is all we need!
Winning the treble isn’t for everyone.
🏆⚽️"It's a funny old game" the magic of the F.A Cup can be unpredictable at times!...😃🎩🪄
Manager is not used to play for so many cups.. I think he wanna go full for the league cup and championship! Afraid to lose players.. otherwise he would start with more basics players to score quickly 2 goals, and then bring all the youngsters!!
No mention that v Top 4 PL Teams are out of the FA Cup.
I'm sure Forest are still in it and they're third.
This show is basically “two uncles bully their nephew” 😂😂😂
Chaosness, what a clown
Nothing on the Ipswich game?
Again..... NOT EVERY Premier League Team has been reviewed #WhatAShambles :(
I am sorry no defence for me top of the prem lost to bottom of the championship thats it they still played a decent team with luiz Dias , Elliot , Gomez so on yes come got injured but still ..... no defence for me.
Where's Shearers seatbelt?!
Wow, the rest is football do a show about Liverpool, they normally only talk about united or arsenal. Oh we lost? Oh right that makes sense, yeah fair enough
Lfc isn't Real Madrid. 1 title in 35 years
@@SC.KINGDOM you’re just sad because England love losing a final, how many world cups you won there m8
@ClipboardKeith better than Ireland that's for sure
@@SC.KINGDOM yeah rice grealish Kane and Bellingham are Irish so well done, i bet you’ll be telling me about white power next
😅😅😅😅
The team Slot put out should’ve won that match but every player had a poor game. That being said, I’m not that mad about it; the prem is way more important and the champions league should be second priority. With less games to play now there should be no excuses to go on and win #20 🏆
Hi as a football fan I find hard to understand why clubs don’t take the FA cup anymore
Games coming in thick and fast. You gotta prioritise...
Too many games
