Step-parents can love their kids as much as bio-parents. If mason's mom was alive step-mother title would work. Charlotte knows she can never replace mason's mom, but she loves mason as her own.
I don't care what anyone says Charlotte is Mason's step-mother. That makes him her kid. I don't understand why fans hate this storyline so much. I love it. Now, us Cooper and Charlotte fans, don't have to sit around waiting for Charlotte to come to her senses about starting a family.
She may not be her his biological mother. But she loves him as she would love her child. She seemed to earlier think that she won't cut it as a mother, and her children would like Coop more than her. But, she can now see that she can love a child and provide them with love and warmth. Remember when she held Lucas as a baby, she couldn't wait to give him back and look at her when she saw Henry. A completely different women.
Sorry, I can't see it that way. Just because she doesn't share a bloodline with the kid, doesn't mean they aren't family. Mason's mother is gone. Cooper is his father. Coop is married to Charlotte. Charlotte now takes care of him and is his legal guardian. Mason needs a mother's love and Charlotte gives it to him :)
Charlotte is not Mason's mother. She did not give birth to him or raise him for the first ten years of his life. But Charlotte is Mason's stepmother. She loves him and will raise for the next ten years of his life. Charlotte is Mason's Mama!
Well she told him right after erika surgery but if you're referring to when she's standing in hia room watching him sleep... Season 5 finale. Probably the night she got pregnant even though he claims it happened inthe showerlol
