I finished watching Private Practice a few days ago and I absolutely loved Charlotte’s character development. She was in many ways like Alex Karev: you hated her at first because she was so cold-blooded but once we learned more about her past and watched her relationship with Cooper grow, she eventually turned into a loving wife and mother.
Well, I loved her from the beginning, but you're damn right... She's in many many ways like Alex

Charlotte and Cooper were my absolute favorite part of Private Practice and my favorite couple in that universe.

icb i just watched the entire thing without ever seeing a single episode of this series or even heard of it 💀 but holy hell these two are cute, charlotte is one of the best written characters ive seen on tv (i enjoyed watching her grow in this compilation alone) and cooper is kinda annoying but so sweet, i may watch this show bc of this video now lmao

I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death.
I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse. Also, you are more likely to be much more closer to someone who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a romantic partner or spouse.
People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner or spouse.
Romantic relationships are pointless, while platonic relationships are not.

Cooper also changed his spending habits & was able to pay Charlotte back the 50K & contribute more to the relationship.
I absolutely hate that the writer's chose to have Coop tell Charlotte that Georgia wasn't dead. It makes for good TV but why would they not think that a scene with literally any other cast member would work as well? It wouldn't have the same emotional punch, but it's bothered me ever since I saw it.
