Beautiful birds. But they're upstaged by the stunning color and shapes/design of the Devil's Walking Stick. The birds leave the shrubs looking undressed but still beautiful after their feast! Thanks, as always!
These birds are so beautiful! I don't believe we ever have them down here in Texas, I've never seen them. But I sure love watching them! They were mighty hungry! Thank you for a wonderful video!
I think it was March a few years ago when a mass of cedar waxwings came thru and wiped out my loquat tree. Florida. It was a sight to be remembered. And definately an ear full.
I’m so jealous, in a good way. I’m sure that the usually immaculately groomed bird would be horrified to know it had a feather out of place on its head! LOL!!!
Look at them go! They are devouring! I've only had the chance to see cedar waxwings twice here in CT. Earlier this month when a fruiting tree in the condo complex I live in had ripe berries, I was hoping to get the chance to see them once robins arrived. Unfortunately, I never got the chance.
I have only had the waxwings one time. I had Loquats that were ripe just in time for a two week feeding frenzy! They are so beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
Every year in February, Cherokee forest on red sumac. These guys harvest, plant, move on, plant, harvest, move on. All their favorite berries in all their favorite places.
It's amazing! This is another bird on my bucket list. I want to see one of these so bad! We have devil's walking stick berries all around North Florida. I may have to procure one to plant in the green space behind my house.
well it was movie night tonight - i cut the video on and left the room and came back. all my cats were laying on the bed or jostling for the chair in front of the computer. they were totally enraptured! the color in this is really beautiful.
Until last summer, I never seen them, then I seen them in two states just 24 hours apart. The first site was a stream where I was kayaking and the second site was a pond that had trees with berries. I think they like to be near water and at the pond, it looked like they were catching flying insects just above the surface. That's my experience with their habitat likelihood.
Amazing footage! Waxwings are so awesome🥰🥰🥰, I wish I had them where I live. Thanks for sharing! Haha are a group of them really called an earful!? Or was that just a joke? 😆
Beautiful. And a complimentary Hermit Thrush? to watch also. Thanks!

My Mother, would call these, the bandit birds-they came in a group and wiped out the berry trees, etc in short order.

They are such beautiful and unusual-looking birds! We have them in my state, but I've never been lucky enough to see them. Thank you! Just lovely!

I'm in Florida but have never seen one! They are so gorgeous. I didn't realize Florida was ever a possibility for them. Cool.
Yes, I've had a large flock of them on loquat fruit trees in winter before. BB
They’re beautiful birds.
haha, an earful of waxwings

Yep, they are called an earful or a museum - the earful I get but not the "museum". BB
What kind of berries are they eating?
Devil's Walking Stick. BB
@@MyBackyardBirding thanks for the information on the plant. I’m going to try to find some to plant
Sumac, right? Not to be confused with poisonous Sumac.
Matthew 6:26
The masked bandits, making away with their loot!
I saw a flock wipe out all of the ornamental berries on a street in my city
Beautiful!
