Aries Spears and Vlad recently shared their thoughts on a variety of topics, including the tragic death of Jam Master Jay and the current state of some of their '80s action heroes. Jam Master Jay's surprising move to selling drugs due to financial struggles was discussed, with Spears emphasizing the importance of financial literacy and having a balanced financial plan. How did Steven seagal go from being held in such high esteem almost like a Bruce Lee type of figure in the 90s to be in the butt of jokes?
He kept trying really hard to convince people he could beat up ACTUAL fighters. Even after he got proven wrong over and over, he never gave up the delusion. Plus, he has a few secsual harassment allegations.
His own mouth did him in. Always bragging and hating on fellow actors. I like his movies but him as a person he belongs right where he is currently at: Russia.

Because he's always been embarrassing and a professional bridge burner. He took himself way too serious, he's consistently awful to work with on anything, and his ego was out of control. When he hosted SNL, he was such a nightmare, on top of being the most unfunny guest ever, that they banned him from the show and never reran his episode. Plus he can't even come back to the States because he's well-aware he'll be smacked with sexual assault lawsuits left and right.

I figured out why I don’t like Vlad, and I think I have a good example. It’s after Aries finishes telling his story about being humiliated by his Director for yelling “Cut”, on set. Vlad doesn’t empathize with Aries for sharing a real moment of embarrassment and vulnerability, he instead jumps to justifying the Director’s ego trip. It takes a lot of emotional intelligence to recall one time you took an L, and use it as a learning point of wisdom.
That’s why I don’t like Vlad’s interview style sometimes, he can’t just be like “Hey, that sucks man. I hear ya…” or something like that. Obviously Aries isn’t even phased by this exchange, so who cares in the end? Just an observation I had. Scroll on folks.
