Quick question: I've noticed when you make roofs you often copy the same roof style twice to complete the roof. I am wondering if you know about pressing the shift button and using the corner arrows on the roof that will allow for only one side of the roof to be shorter than the other. I hope this helps if that is the reason you do the two roofs, and if not, never mind!
