Being a Sarawakian myself, I haven't been to many places in Sarawak, and most of them are unknown to me as well. It's so odd to me that I've been living in Europe and travelling to many places in Europe, but places that are closer to home that I have never been to. I've always wanted to go to Batang Ai, Bario, Kapit, etc., etc. Sarawak is just too big, and I need very long holidays to go back and visit all these amazing places. I'm a Melanau/Iban/Japanese from Balingain, you might never have heard of this place, it's a small village or town, if you can say it that way.

Great Video as usual Nick! Hope you post more on Miri very soon! Miri Country Music Fest 2023 is on 1sr and 2nd December, hope to see you and your family back again!
TQVM Nick for promoting my beautiful home state Sarawak, Borneo. Though I don't reside permanently in Sarawak now, my roots are there and there is nothing like home. Like what they say you can take me out of Sarawak but you can never take Sarawak out of me. Am a true blue Borneo Sarawakian, original to the core.
12 years 🎉 🫰 congrats, Nick! There are many places you can also go that are not included in this video and they are Port Alice in Sri Aman, Telok Melano beach, Jong's Crocodile Farm and Zoo, Pasar Satok (only opens during the weekend as early as 7am), and lastly the not yet finish St. Peter's Church.
There are hundreds of places I didn't mention in the video! I will dive deeper into other places to visit in future videos! I can make videos about Sarawak until I am 80 years old!

In my humble opinion taking a road trip with stopping in every division from Kuching to Miri is the way to go if you plan to visit Sarawak. Sure it'll take some time but it's worth every bit of the said time spent. You'll find out quickly what every division has to offer.
I really enjoy your videos nick...very interesting...but you forgot about PESTA BENAK in SRI AMAN 😅 maybe you should recommend your viewers more about PESTA BENAK because it's one of the most popular events in Sarawak itself ☺️
Thanks for watching, and thanks for the feedback! I hope to be able to visit the next Pesta Benak and I will do a full video about it! I unfortunately missed it last month...
You goof you ! Your video uncovers my own ignorance of my own State beauty ! I only visit 3 of all the interesting places you mentioned...n people from other parts of the World, were there before me ! I am Guilty as charged !

Hey! I know multiple gay-couples who happily live in Kuching. Kuching seems less narrow minded. You will not be able to get married in Malaysia, but you can live together. No problemo!
Sarawak is definitely the most beautiful state in Malaysia with its people and biodiversity. ✨ So proud to be a Sarawakian. 😊
If you live and die in Sarawak, YES you are a Sarawakian.
