Zusammen mit Charley Boorman und unserem thailändischen Partner Peera haben wir ein außergewöhnliches Abenteuer in Angriff genommen: eine Motorradtour durch den Dschungel Thailands bis zur Grenze von Myanmar, ausgestattet mit der brandneuen 1300 GS. Charley Boormans Abenteuerlust begann mit der legendären "Long Way Round" Tour gemeinsam mit Ewan McGregor. Seit diesen Anfängen hat sich vieles verändert. Charley hat unzählige Motorrad- und Reiseprojekte realisiert, darunter die Teilnahme an der berühmten Rallye Dakar 2006. Für seine TV-Serie "By Any Means" legte er 30.000 km von Irland nach Australien zurück - ohne jemals ein Flugzeug zu nutzen. Als Botschafter für das ACT-Projekt in Großbritannien und Kroatien setzte er erneut auf Touratech-Equipment, um seine Abenteuer erfolgreich zu meistern.

Charley Boorman's thirst for adventure began with the legendary “Long Way Round” tour together with Ewan McGregor. A lot has changed since those early days. Charley has completed countless motorcycle and travel projects, including taking part in the famous 2006 Dakar Rally, and for his TV series “By Any Means” he covered 30,000 km from Ireland to Australia - without ever using an airplane.
