    Very grateful this was made public. Pema was the only voice I could hear in my hardest time. She helped me not feel alone with my struggle. Father G, always reminds me that love is the way, and to see our nobility and the nobility of others. Bless them both and the courageous men and women at Homeboy.

    I awoke with such a headache and heartache early this morning.
    I was guided to utube and guided to view this "random" talk.
    What I know is that it is not "random"! Spirit guided me to HEAR and see this incredible meeting.
    This meeting of 3 human beings sharing their " work" of God in action has inspired me to keep learning, to keeping listening and to keep feeling with an open heart. I am grateful. Thank you to all involved. I hope to share this talk with all my friends.🌎

    I've watched many, many Homeboy videos. I've thought a lot about the healing that happens there. I've thought about all the money I spent for psychotherapy, in my effort to heal from many years of abuse , and what a waste of money it was. For decades, I worked with victims of rape and child abuse and I tried to be as loving as I could, but when Greg Boyle talked about tenderness, I said YES!!! That's what haven't known myself, and you can't pretend it into happening for yourself through fantasy. I want to watch this video many times. And it was great to listen to Pema Chodron. I didn't know her work, but I will definitely investigate it now. This must have been a thrilling evening. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

      @TulipIris7244 3 роки тому +2

      It is often used as a greeting in Buddhist texts such as - “O Nobly Born, O you of glorious origins, remember your radiant true nature, the essence of mind. Trust it. Return to it. It is home.”
      -The Tibetan Book of the Dead
      In Buddhism, to have been born a human is considered the rarest, most auspicious, and noblest of possible births, because (so they say) only as a human in the human realm can one study the dharma, mediate, pray, and realize the radiant true nature of mind - and help alleviate suffering. (“this precious human birth”)

    Find True Peace In Jesus Christ
    What does it take to be Saved?
    Faith in Christ’s Finished Work on the Cross
    The Cost of Sin
    Romans 6:23
    For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
    HELL IS A REAL LOCATION
    Luke 12:4-5
    And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
    But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
    Matthew 25:51
    And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
    Are we all Sinners in NEED of a Saviour?
    Romans 3:10-12
    As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
    There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
    They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
    Romans 3:23-26
    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
    Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
    Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
    To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
    What specifically to Believe in!!
    1 Timothy 2:4-6
    Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
    For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
    Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
    1 Corinthians 15:1-4
    Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
    By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
    For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
    And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
    Christ died for our sins, he was buried, and he rose again according to the scriptures so you can be free from Hell and Death. This is the greatest gift God gave us. By having faith in the Gospel you are sealed with the Holy Spirit forever and SAVED from that moment to eternity.
    Galatians 1:11-12
    11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
    12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
    Heaven or Hell?
    It’s Your Choice
    A PRAYER FOR SALVATION THROUGH FAITH
    “I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that Christ died for my sins and rose three days later from the grave. Thank you for forgiving my sin on the cross. You alone Jesus is now why I have forgiveness and eternal life. Thank you in Jesus name. Amen.”
    If you have prayed this with faith (Wholeheartedly) you are Forgiven and now in the Body of Christ.
    Welcome brother or sister. Remember saying a prayer does not save you, having Faith does in Jesus and what He did for you.
    What if I continue to Sin?
    What if I stop having Faith?
    What if 5 years after being saved I have an affair?
    What if I aborted my child 1 year after I was saved?
    What about suicide?
    When you first had faith in Christ you were sealed and secured from that day forward, no matter what you do or don’t do our saviour has saved your soul and made you a new creation. Remember it Gods Work that saved you not Yours.
    Eternal Security ( 100% Going to Heaven)
    Ephesians 2:8-9
    For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
    Not of works, lest any man should boast.
    Titus 3:5
    Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
    Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
    That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
    God Bless You

    These former gang members who have lived lives of Hell thanks to their primary caretakers, will never feel totally spiritually fulfilled, this goes for all people, until they make the connection to the animals and earth, by being vegan.
    By ingesting the misery and torture of innocent, helpless animals, this contributes to their inner angst, mental and physical issues, not to mention, the destruction of the earth.
    Subsidized foods for the poor in struggling communities like the Barrio and ghetto, that are in the prison system, and I'm assuming at Father Greg's home, are full of meat, dairy, sugar, AKA misery, murder, disease-creating foods.
    Pema, of all people, being that she is a Buddhist nun, and purports to live a non-violent, harmonious life, and that others should also,
    missed making the most important point,
    how we are all connected in the circle of life, everything living/breathing, and when the animals suffer, billions a day, and the earth is being destroyed,
    the violence within society,, the addiction, gangs, wars, abuse of children and women,
    will never end.
    Get these young people to have gardens, be outside planting their food,
    connecting to it, to the earth, to their humanity, and stop this vicious cycle of negativity.
    These young people are our future, and they have to save the animals and planet, or there is no hope.

      Work with this: millions of animals are tortured and murdered daily and we are all connected through energy.
      All minorities, women, children, particularly those from disenfranchised backgrounds are affected by ingesting and contributing to the agony and destruction of animals and the earth.
      Violence begets violence.
      Guaranteed if humans live in harmony with animals and the earth, the horror these young people have lived through and that this wonderful man helped them heal from, would be eliminated.
      I know Pema well as I’m a Yoga teacher and have studied her, she’s taught me so much, but these people have the ability to change the course of these young people’s philosophy on living by making them aware of these issues.
      Also, if you think that the misery that the majority of animals live in is such a beautiful sacrifice, first of all watch “Earthlings”, then if you find that acceptable, why don’t you go live like these sentient beings do and tell me how much you enjoy it, capisce?

      The bottom line for governments and corporations is money, and they don’t give a crap about animals, the earth, women, minorities, abused children.
      I mean, the drug culture keeps millions employed including police and people working in the prison system.
      On the note of the large amount of people incarcerated, there is no rehabilitation in them, they fight, do drugs, get raped, eat tortured, mutilated animals (and for “good behavior “ prisoners are allowed to work in the slaughterhouses, where they take their tortured spirits out on these innocent animals, where some rape the animals, but at any rate physically abuse them) and unhealthy, processed foods, bide their time with monotonous activities, some spend a lot of time in isolation, have nothing constructive to occupy them, don’t learn healthy skills, don’t spend time outdoors connecting to nature.
      By the way, this land, (as all land has been)the US was stolen from the indigenous peoples, who knew that they were benefactors of it and needed to live in harmony with it, understood the circle of life.
      The destruction of the animals and earth must end and the violence, wars and addiction will end.
      In the next 20 years, the oceans will be empty of life and most species of land animals will be wiped out.
      💔🌱🕊🧘🏿‍♀️🌸
