I appreciate that, but to be completely honest, I actually used the exact same shotgun microphone here as I have for the past three years. The only thing that's different is the lack of background noise at this meet. By contrast, I refereed a dual meet last night where the team benches were shouting so loudly the entire time that I literally could not even hear the words coming out of my own mouth... no joke 😅
