Thereby, we could say that our memory is focused to help us as a living being to predict situations in the future thanks to our previous experiences , like a biological device that we have and works as a warning or way to help us to tailor our decisions, instead of having that usesless utility such as remembering things just because. In that way, our memory has helped us throughout the entire time we have been living as a race. I have never thought that memory could be seen like that. I guess it is about perspectives.
Thanks. Now I know all my memories of being molested, beaten, and harassed by my family are subjective. If they don't remember it, it must not have happened. I'm just living with CPTSD because my mind made it up.

There are studies provided if you search the subject. There is one where a room of volunteers witness a staged crime. A person involved runs through the room and grabs a purse. They interview the people present in different rooms and they don't agree on many of the same details. Some say the person had a hat, some say they were dressed in a certain color. Eye witness reports aren't what they are hyped to be. Rarely will anyone remember the event accurately and they're often way off on the details.
