Though, I can't be totally certain about it. I do believe I can explain the apple balloon bit. I believe he actually gave the answer as to how he knew there at the end. Everyone noticed they were both red right. Though we are all different our minds function, for the most part, very much the same way. Psychologically speaking of course. Most people are going to associate one object with another based on shape. Another factor in the association is usually color. The apple, all ready being very close in shape to a balloon is your first determiner. The next is the color of the apple which was red. The same color as the balloon at the end. I'm not certain, but I would not doubt that the most common color of balloons is red. There's that bit explained, or at least, how I would have thought it through. I am uncertain as to the name bit, though it required the participant to be in close proximity, thus the joining him on stage part. Or, you know, there's always the possibility she was a plant. Very common amongst magical acts once upon a time and probably still is to a certain extent. I hope I didn't confuse anyone even more so with my explanation. I apologize if so.
He will have had what magicians call “multiple outs” for the apple trick. There are only a small number of likely answers, and he will have a piece of paper with each of them in different pockets. Even the spectator says something he hasn’t catered for, he just ditches that bit of the trick, and focuses on the misdirection with the fork and the disappearing apple. The name reveal will probably have been set up by pre-show work, either by him or a secret assistant who got the information.
How can a knowledge in psychology let him know what a person has in their mind while he doesn't even know how that person or how the person's psyche works.
So how did he get a name that rare? Or was the girl in the audience REALLY part of it all THE WHOLE TIME???? Like how many licks does it takes to get to the center of a tootsie roll tootsie pop ~ THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW
As anyone that was “there” would always say. “You’d never understand unless, you where there” as in (they value their experience so much that human egos do not let others discredit their experience, and thus being , in itself, their lives).
That was superb Mr Nunn. So privallaged to have been part of your journey.
I watched this talk live, and the whole audience of a couple thousand people was buzzing afterwards!
I loved the talk as somewhere it teaches self reflection, faith and curiosity😮.

Soooo excellent making us question everything!!
and if it cannot be proved by science, you know that it isn’t real and only imagination. Ones who who are creative imagine away as well!

Illusion and presentation practices to , well, be good enough for a national stage? idk though I’m just an average nobody lol
Think those 2 people he chose were paid actors
