This is my favorite anime of all time, potentially show, right up there with the Twilight Zone. It's been over a decade, but I can look back on every creative work of mine and see a tie that goes back to this show. What an impact.
I can't say it any better
I remember walking ten thousand miles.
Mushishi show is great in story telling, sountracks ,also beautiful visuals. (one of the great shows)
Musishi is very good! If you like a story like Natsume Yuujinchou you will like Mushishi. It has the same vibe but also very different.
Never watched Mushishi but I had a friend a while ago who put it in their top 10, this definitely made me want to check out the series.
I've seen this whole show 3 times I believe and I've enjoyed it every single time it's just the best🥺❤️
Btw I liked the editing in the 3rd story its a clever idea😆
You are soooo underrated! Keep it up man you will blow up
Man, I had Mushishi on my watch list for years and I was right, I really need to get on this series
My guyyy, pls dont be discouraged! Please continue to make more videos! We wish you the best of luck! Your content is amazing!!!!!
You have done this series justice, thank you sir.
You absolutely must make a Kino's Journey video
This might be the anime that gave anxiety for 2 weeks. Idk why but it might be reason.
The anime is one of the greatest and one of my most favorite.
Its quite haunting watching this video, you sound almost exactly like ginko's english voice actor.
It's insane how underrated you are
Ever dig deeper to enjoy the depths in the world and in yourself.
Loved this video! Would love to see you do more coverage of mushishi
Glad you liked it! I definitely plan to come back to the series at some point in the future.
I was introduced to this show when I was little. (Via older brothers ) and now that I'm older and can appreciate things more than I ever did before I'm grateful that I know this great series exists in my life.
Mushishi is my one of the best anime
Mushishi is in my top15 for sure. This deep dive was really intriguing! Quality stuff!
Nice edit choice!
My new favorite anime channel. Honestly your analysis feels so refreshing, I think your style is also great. Thanks for introducing me to things I might have missed otherwise.
i've binged most of your videos, and i love them all. i'm looking forward to future work!
This is very interesting! It’s like an alien parasite wildlife documentary. Your videos are top tier 👍 (Btw I genuinely thought something was up with my connection when I got to story 3. Nice work!)
I like the way that you got behind the general mood and style of the anime and talked about one of the strongest themes, life itself.
Thank you for the video.
Wow, this one is underrated
The editing during the Excessive life portion was really great, awesome video :D

be serious, this anime change my way of thinking about life. it took me more in direction of shintobhuddism and animism and im very, very happy for this change. this anime should be used as education. i never see a other show so deeply like mushishi. either the music. im glad i can this listen till my end comes.
God I LOVED Mushishi growing up. So glad to see you covered this topic too!
This is my favourite anime ever!
Any chance there might be a golden kamuy video somewhere in the future? I absolutely love youre aproach to videos and would love what you have to say about the characters from kamuy :)
I actually haven't seen/read Golden Kamuy, but I'd be willing to give it a shot at some point in the future
I’ve been meaning to watch this anime for a while. I really liked the overall vibe I got from even just looking at its cover years ago. Now I know it is a must watch indeed seen my tastes. It really does put existence into different perspectives which I couldn’t have thought of all by myself. Very interesting. I think there is a difference between merely existing and living, with the latter being more complex, but some struggle to even simply exist in this life. Death is an essential part of it, sadly. But what value would one hold without the other? Every creature is just struggling to survive. I like being alive ahah but did I ask for it? We are given life without a warning or anything, yet we can hold it so dear at times. Idk if I’m making sense. I’m a river of thoughts rn. This video was very thought provoking and your voice is just spectacular. (Also I loved the editing like other comments pointed out)
It's quite a unique series, that's for sure! You're definitely right in that even the act of existing can be a challenge for various people. It can be even more difficult to properly "live," but those qualifications are different for everyone. Life can be equal parts gift and curse, but I still believe that overall, it's quite an interesting experience that's worthwhile. Glad you enjoyed this!
0:40 The planet hopes for a symbiotic relationship? How do you know?
I love mushishi
I just watched the "excessive life episode". It felt like a reversed Beautiful Dreamer in a way
imagine watching mushishi and *not* going vegan
