I like the idea of temporarily removing the jack so it doesn't hit the tailgate but cringe at the idea of traveling, pulling a trailer, with no jack installed. I spoke with the manufacturer of one of my trailers, and they agree, you need the jack in place while traveling. If something goes wrong and the trailer becomes detached, a loose trailer, attached by chains but not being supported by a jack (preferably with a skid plate) changes the whole dynamics and makes a bad situation even worse.
But MANY trailers have a fold up Jack and many are sold that way.
I like how mine swivels on my landscape trailer. Super easy

I notice that the washers don't go back onto either the housing or the triangle (brace?). Do I just disregard the washers that come with the Jack-E-Up?
You can use the washers, you need the lock washers

Review doesn't say anything about installing and removing the foot-plate when you insert or remove the jack from the hole, or the need to store it as well.
The foot plate just slides out and there is a place to set it on the Jack-E-Up base

Well it's a review and install article. The music is where I'm installing with a 60 mph wind. Did have a choice after shooting for 2 days.

Video to long for this and going over same thing drags it out. Will say like about half. Remember it's a video and and play it back if missed something also when promoting a product it would be more useful to give some weight loads for this or if their is optional ones and what they as well as you are pulling a round jack through that hole, so what's on the bottom then? Is there a plate or is it just that wheel which with a heavier load we all know they suck. If it's just round let's just say cause it can hold weight then mud or grass and even asphalt will dig in. Just a little more on the important info and not so much on the instal and then the uninstall and then reinstall and so on. Just not needed really makes me want to say damn mark get to the good stuff 😤
That's what I did, the first 5 minutes with the good stuff and then the boring install it after that. My website article will have more details about what's on the end of the jack and the capacity. Most folks I know just use a piece of wood on the end of the jack, which I like, some will use the foot or wheel that comes with the jack, but that takes more time with or without Jack-E-Up. I think it's a cool product that nobody knows about.
You could had simply stopped watching when you wanted to. Maybe others enjoyed the additional content.
