    I'm assuming the stock tanks are mapped out on Arizona regional hunting maps?

    • @UplanderLifestyle
      @UplanderLifestyle  2 роки тому +1

      Honestly couldn't tell you 100% if there is a specific map that has tanks marked. We use OnX, and although the tanks themselves aren't marked, they're pretty easy to spot and pick out when going over the map and eScouting.

    Did the dogs get used to the cactus pretty quick? How bout booties, gave to use them?

    • @UplanderLifestyle
      @UplanderLifestyle  2 роки тому

      Dogs threw caution to the wind and ran through cactus like it wasn't even there. As far as having to boot the dogs, I'd feel more comfortable not booting them if I was continuously running dogs in that country and their feet were conditioned to it. Some people we had seen online, their dog's pads were ruined in one day from running in that country because they didn't boot them. It just wasn't worth the risk to not boot the dogs and loose the dog power. I didn't boot dogs every spot, if it was softer soil and not as many rocks I didn't boot them. The rocks were my main concern when it came to booting the dogs. Cactus, thorns that kind of stuff didn't bother me, thorns can be pulled out. A ripped pad from rocks puts a dog on the sidelines pretty fast.

    I lived in oracle for 10 years ,guided quail hunting for 9 . I noticed that your gun was loaded with 5 rounds. In Az three shells is the max on shells . waterfowl is also only three as per fed regs, as well as no tox shot. Do not get caught, Az game and fish are brutal on offenders, especially out of state hunters.

    • @UplanderLifestyle
      @UplanderLifestyle  5 місяців тому

      Plugged guns only apply to waterfowl, not small game/upland birds. Per page 61 of AZ hunting digest, R12-4-301 and R12-4-304. Legal to hunt with up to 5 in the tube +1 in the chamber. Thanks.
