All the research I've done says they live to about 55. Is it different for wild birds?
Yes, wild birds typically live shorter life expectancies. Competition for food and probation. Keep that number lower than if they are a household member of the family or in zoological care.

Yes,not as eloquently as an African Grey but they're wonderful mimics. Mine says hello,bye,peekaboo and a mix of censored language.
