Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
Alright. Most of the time when I see these “hacks,” I don’t really like the end product. Lots of the time, they look too homemade and thrown together for me... but dang!!!! This is really really good. Very impressed. Keep up the good work, dude.
I'm obsessed with the outcome of the dresser!! That exact hue of green is actually my favourite colour, I usually call it pistacchio or salvia to have some reference. Anyway, love the project and the aesthetic of the piece!
My mom saw the wallpaper in my room and asked what do I plan to do with it. 😳 my stomach dropped because I feared she would say no. I showed her this video and she was TOTALLY ON BOARD! 🤩 DIY project has been approved!
I’m literally looking at this basic ass dresser in my bedroom right now Lmaoo. I didn’t even bother adding the pull tabs because I told myself I was going to paint it ... a year ago.
The excess wallpaper would look so cute wrapped over marmalade jars for candle holders! Subtle continuity. This is a beautiful tallboy dresser-makeover!
This dresser is freaking stunning! I love the wallpaper on the front, it creates a vintage and luxurious look and the pale green color is absolutely beautiful! I'm in love!
This IKEA DIY and the rattan one are the best I’ve seen on UA-cam, they look so high end and well done, but are actually pretty accessible for the average person to do themselves. Amazing job, Drew! Please keep it up. I love that the “next day” card matched the green of the dresser.
WOW! I’m obsessed with this dresser!! That wall paper and your choice of paint and hardware REALLY turned it into something so lux and unique! Amazing job....so impressed.
The dresser was a total success, just lovely! But my favorite part is listening to you talk. You explain things concisely and your positive attitude is contagious. So glad I happened upon this. I’m a fan now and always!
Spot on, and you clearly know your stuff! I used to live in a Victorian terraced house here in the UK, and I had lincrusta panels all through the hall and up the staircase and along the landing, dating from the late 1800s. It was simply stunning - I really loved it. It was a bit like this ☺️ : lincrusta.com/art-nouveau-dado-107
Beautifully done! I love the care you took in matching the pattern on the wallpaper! I have seen other videos where the didn’t, and they spoiled the look they were going for.
The green you love is a dominant accent in my home. Love it! This is one of my favorite DIYs that you've done. This sort of paper was very popular in the UK. It may still be popular. It hides bad plastering jobs.
Drew, I'm watching this at almost 3am, and I had a bit of a panic today seeing how bare the grocery store was, and honestly you're the only person to calm me down. You have such a gentle nature.
I'm obsessed! Glad to have a tutorial for this. My boyfriend doesnt like the raw wood look at ikea and I try to convince him we can "make it our own" but he just can't visualize it looking nice at the end. Using this as an example to get some new decor for our place 🙃
Drew, my darling, you did it again!!! You always make me SMILE!!! So envious of your talents...So digging this embossed paper drawer fronts, pretty much everything about this project! Sending prayers and love! 😊💖😍
This wall paper brings me back to my childhood as my parents had this wall paper! I'm sure they had this for a good 20 years before redecorating the house! It's nice to see it again!
I love this Drew, how creative and talented you are. You have a unique eye for the most quirky and unusual items that become absolutely gorgeous after your magic touch. I love watching your channel. 😊
Very consciencious of you to remind people wash hands and be safe. And comendable. Just love this, now I want to do it and sage is my favorite color to live in. Red is my favorite color, but i can't live in it.
I have a few questions if you're bored XD Love the video :) 1. How do you choose your color palette for these DIYs - do you tone it to the surroundings, pick a favorite color or go off trending colors? 2. Do you end up with a lot of left over paint from projects & if so, how do you end up using it? Does that play a big part in smaller DIYs' color palette as well? 3. With the larger projects, do you usually just switch out pieces of furniture regularly or do you ever gift furniture to family & friends? Have you ever sold anything you've made that you may not have had room for? Purely out of curiosity. I love the furniture re-dos but I have no room for furniture & wonder how you do it with an apartment.
Once again it’s stunning! So beautiful and perfectly executed. I’m in the UK and the Prime Minister is being a bit slow closing everything down however due to the drugs I’m on I have been told by my specialist to stay home.... for 12 weeks 😱 (as I have a weakened immune system). As I’m a medical secretary and work in a hospital, it’s not very easy but we are trying to set up remote access. Fingers crossed! Keep smiling and keep safe everyone 👍🏼
When i was 16, i made my whole wardrobe wall covered in a wood print wallpaper, the texture made it look soo cool. I just got it down a few days ago and even after a decade it looked flawless. I love to see the crafty videos & your channel tops the chart for me cause not only everything turns out so classy looking but has so much personality & uniqueness to it.
I love the fact you go into details of how you do each step, which helps people like myself who have a lot of interest in doing DIY but don't really know how to do it. Very very very nice, I appreciate this type of content :)
Phenomenal. It looks so per expensive. Question : Thinking of getting this dresser. Could i switch out the legs for something more traditional like turn legs
Andrea Samuels it looks like the legs are built in but it wouldn’t be hard to saw them off, sand and then just screw in some different ones in the same area
Your idea of drilling through one drawer to get the perfect alignment for the holes in the next drawer is inspired. I think I would paint the sides of the drawers, too, so it has a more finished look when you open them.
I just love it, you are a genius! I started renovating our house with the help of your videos. Your style looks so sophisticated, exactly what I need. I love it when interior complements my eyes If you know what I mean (not a native english speaker)
The only thing that would make this better is if you drilled the holes for the pulls a little bigger so that little foot goes into the wood and the handle is more flush to the front.
This is absolutely the best dresser revamp I’ve seen. Realistically easy it looks like with Max results 😍😍😍. I love this. Yes going to do this. Ordering dresser now
I’m not gonna lie, every time the word “repeat” came on the screen I thought it said “repent” and i got really weirded out until I realized it said “repeat.” 😂 Anyway, this was an awesome DIY and the end result was STUNNING. By far my favorite DIY you’ve done so far!
When I paint/stain IKEA stuff, I do the painting/staining before I put it together. You so think like me. Great upgrade design. You rocked it! Thanks for sharing.
This dresser is perfect! I love it! I stocked up on a bunch of craft and woodworking supplies for our stay in...my small business (that's only 3 weeks old) is struggling now but I figured I can get a whole lot of inventory made (it's a home decor store with a focus on handmade items, mostly by me but also local artisans). I hope you're staying safe and healthy!
I am LIVING for your furniture DIYs lately! Seriously so creative and saving me so much money making what i love vs buying it for hundreds of dollars at the store.
Back in the mists of time when I was a boy, lol, this kind of anaglypta wallpaper was so popular among the working classes because it brought a hint of luxury without the high end price. My parents were obsessed with it. And yes, it can be a chore to paint over due to the embossed design. You have created an item of furniture which you'd be hard pressed to know had come from IKEA, with the added bonus that it is now unique. This is sooo gorgeous! I'm in love! I recently moved into a new house with my family and we've been working really hard on the interiors for it. I've been obsessed with unique, statement furniture like this but have been hesitant to get it for my room. Now I'm inspired to go buy that pretty blue vintage shelf!
Hi Lone Fox Fam! Sending each and every one of you healthy and positive vibes as we get through this stressful time! xoxo
You are a breath of fresh air in this gloomy atmosphere!!! Stay safe, healthy, and happy! God bless you!

This editing style is perfect, it's relaxing and calm. Beautiful dresser. Thank you!
The second I saw that wallpaper I was thinking the same thing!!
I love this. A lot of youtuber’s DIYs don’t turn out this best, but this looks like a really expensive piece.

Thank you!!! 🖤
"Everyone was at Ralph's buying water and toilet paper and I was at IKEA buying dressers and pillow cases" 😂😂😂. That really made me laugh lol!

DIYers got their priorities !
That was my favorite line!! 😂😂 Drew is just effortless with his humor
So spot on! My girls and I have been getting our DIY priorities straight too. I horde art supplies and I'm not ashamed to admit it. 😆

Precision is what makes all the difference in DIY, between "WOW," and, "oh cute, you made it yourself..." Drew really earns the wows!
it's the difference between hand made and home made.

If anything is missing, it's some clear Verathane over top to help keep it clean. Just sayin... Luuvv it!
That's what I wondered, raised pattern means it'll get dusty quick.
Yes
So I just made this dresser and my nails tend to dig into the paper will the Verathane stop that from happening?
Such a professional look! Well done on lining the pattern up. In England we call that wallpaper anaglypta.
Drew. You've outdone yourself. This looks SO beautiful and elegant!!! Love it....
This turned out so beautiful Its inspiring me to do this to my old dresser.
The dresser looks incredible! However, I must admit I was a bit distracted by the living room rug - love it! It looks so cozy.
Andie Ingram me too! Went looking for a link to it. 😂😉
The wallpaper is called anaglypta. It was considered a poor man’s lincrusta, which is GORGEOUS.
I've never heard of either. Thanks for the info!
In the UK in Victorian times , anaglypta wallpaper was a staple in upper middle class homes 😁

Yes that foot has to go way in. But the dresses looks fan-freakin-tastic.
Ditto ... handle should be flush with the drawer front.
Yes, the handles were not properly installed. Otherwise, a great piece. My OCD would have to fix the handles though.

The colour and the antique brass effect handles give it a very high end expensive look, I absolutely love it, great job!
