What a great vintage find! I love the continuity issues with the old toys from the 80s...you just never know what colors things will be until you open the box, lol. You have a nice vintage Barbie collection so far! I'm sure the beach EAH and MH gang will also enjoy those chairs and accessories 😊
I had this Play Pak as a kid! So lucky you found it locally for $10!!!! It must be a rare variation as I remember having everything in this pak the same colours as in the photo. Wish I could find it again. 😜
I'm honestly not sure. I've not researched it enough. If I had to make a guess, I would say it was either a production run change or they were done in opposite colours to indicate which factory/country they were produced in. :)
Grayskull Warrior I think it could of been a prototype photo and they just used the image after the idea was pitched to save time or money for other Barbie products.
oh, and what body did you use for fabulous Barbie in magenta pink? it looks very familiar, but I can't recognize it. is it a Tuesday Talor's body? or Barbie had been using the similar technology back in the days too?
ooooh, I've heard about her! but I didn't know, she's so posable! maybe you could make a review on her? like you did on vintage Masters of the Universe?
What a great find! And in perfect condition. I love the fun colors and retro vibe of it all. 😍

I'm GAGGING to get to the beach and do an outdoor shoot with this set and the Mirror Beach girls.

u got yourself a new subscriber.😊😊😊
Thank you so much. I enjoy reviewing vintage toys way more than new ones. Im so happy you enjoyed it. :)
also, the umbrella's stand and a table have the reversed coloring as well. do you think, it's a common production flow?

oh, it's a clever thought. anyways, color combination was saved =)
I found a box art coloured set on eBay for cheap. When it arrives, I'll do a comparison review. :)
Awesome! can't wait!

Oh, PS, which Barbie is that in the photos. She's so cute!!
"Beauty Secrets Barbie". Maybe I'll do a review on her? She's beautiful. My sister had her as a kid and I always wanted one too. hehe. Now I do.
Grayskull Warrior awesome! Yes, do a review, lol. 😊
Will do!! She has so many amazing, cute accessories!

She is "Beauty Secrets Barbie". No head or body swapping. All original. :) I think she's from 1979.

Sure! Give me a day or 2 and I'll review her. :D
cool! I was searching for her on eBay time to time, but I just don't know all her features. can't wait to see her in all her glory!
I have her ready to go! Will film and post within the next day or two. :)
